7 Canadian runners are running on loop 53.

Sandra Auger is out, after smashing her personal best, running an incredible 51 loops for Canada!

Sandra is also our final Persistence Five Profile:

Sandra was our 2026 Last One Standing, battling through heat, followed by an unbelievable amount of rain.

She persevered through those conditions taking the win with 39 loops. Ending each loop with a smile and gratitude.

We're so incredibly proud of how she has represented herself and Canada!

Way to go Sandra!

All 9 Canadians have completed 2 days of running! 48 hours, and 200 miles!

Persistence Five Profile:

Michael Rouleau was the Last One Standing at the PBYU in 2025.

Michael was planning on returning in 2026 to try and earn the Silver Ticket, however, he earned another Silver Ticket prior to the race. With no need to run the race, Michael made the drive from Sudbury to London, and was on hand to support any runners and crew who wanted some advice or assistance.

Michael is a police officer. He is dedicating each of his loops at the World Championships to a police officer who has lost their life to su***de, in support of Canada Beyond the Blue.
