💜We are so beyond proud of DPA’s fist ever completion of ballet exams! These dancers worked so hard and it all paid off with their successful completion of exams yesterday! 👏🏻⭐️A huge thank you to the wonderful Ms. Thomas and assistant Ms. Jasmine for all your hard work, knowledge, passion and love!! This would not be possible without you! 😘

👊🏼Why Ballet Exams Matter & How to Register!🙌🏻

Ballet exams are about so much more than earning a certificate. They are a celebration of dedication, discipline, growth, and confidence. Every exercise practiced, every correction applied, and every challenge overcome helps dancers develop not only their technique but also valuable life skills such as perseverance, focus, and resilience.
Exams give dancers a goal to work toward, an opportunity to showcase their progress, and a chance to experience the pride that comes from achieving something they have worked hard for. Watching our students step into the examination room with confidence and determination is one of the most rewarding parts of our year.
Whether your child dreams of dancing professionally or simply loves the joy of movement, ballet exams provide a meaningful milestone in their dance journey.

📣Registration is open for our 2026/2027 dance season online! If you are interested in having your dancer start their ballet exam journey please email us for inquiry and meet/greet to place them accordingly (DPA dancers - Grade 1 ballet exams are open and encouraged for all our mini select dancers and junior dancers that have not completed Gr. 1 already).

Jasmine, Kate & Kelly- you have been with us since the very beginning, and you have left footprints on DPA that will never be forgotten! From dancers, to mentors, to teachers, you truly do it all. You have been incredible leaders, role models, and inspirations to every dancer who has walked through our doors! 💜

The fact that you made an entire studio cry 😭says a thousand words about the beautiful humans and leaders you are, both inside and out. DPA will not be the same without you next year, but we know the world is gaining three exceptional, life-changing people.👏🏻⭐️

We are beyond proud of you, and remember… DPA will always be your second home. We love you so much!!!! 💜

We cannot wait to celebrate our amazing year with everyone at our End of Year Celebration tomorrow from 5:00–8:00 at the studio💜✨

We also want to thank everyone for their patience as we finalize and prepare our updated schedule, pricing, and teaching lineup for the upcoming season. All information will be sent out tomorrow morning, and we’ll be available during the celebration to answer any questions!

🥳🥹Gah… words can’t even describe how overfilled with joy and pride we are after another unforgettable year. Our annual recital this weekend was truly one for the books! 💜✨

All of our dancers’ and teachers’ hard work poured out onto that stage with so much passion, professionalism, and heart. So many dancers , including our little ones, had countless quick changes, and somehow the show went on seamlessly from start to finish.👏🏻

Of course, none of this would have been possible without our unbelievable backstage crew: teachers, alumni, alumni mamas, family, and friends, the true MVPs who made it possible for our dance families to sit back, watch stress-free, and enjoy every moment. 🫶

Our hearts are so full… but also a little heavy as we say goodbye to three beloved grads - incredible mentors, leaders, teachers, role models, and dancers. And of course, to our fearless leader, Pam. There truly wasn’t a dry eye in the house. (Their special post is coming separately 💜)

We truly have the best dance families, and when we all come together in one place, it creates something beyond magical.

👏🏻⭐️Congratulations to our baby doll, Daphne, on being our ‘May Dancepirations Inspiration’!💜🔥

We have also had the privilege of having Daphne for her very first dance steps just before age 2 and have got to see her grow into a talented, passionate and dedicated dancer! 🥹This year in particular we have seen her grow so much in many different styles of dance, all her teachers have said what a privilege it is to teach her and see her shine! Dance is definitely this girls happy place!! 💜

She also had her first solo this year and you would have no idea with her smile and confidence that is was her first time out solo! Keep on inspiring us Daphne! 😘👏🏻

🥰🥹Congratulations to this little firecracker that graced us with her first dance steps this year, Kaeda, on being our ‘April Dancepirations Inspiration’! 👏🏻⭐️💜

As soon as Kaeda entered our doors we knew she was going to be something special. She walked right in ready to learn with a huge smile on her face. Her work ethic is far beyond her years and we cannot wait to see the future has for this star! She reminds us so much of our beautiful senior dancer, Aaliyah (and looks like her lol), what a great role model to have.

Kaeda has been offered a spot on our intro to comp team next season! Congratulations baby doll!! She also has the sweetest little sister who watches each week and gets inspired by her big sister !! 🥹

Goal for next season is to be on time for these lol. Always so hard to choose as all our DPA dancers are so inspiring!

👏🏻Congratulations to our Claire bear on being our ‘March Dancepirations Inspiration’! 💜⭐️

Claire was one of DPA’s first ever students on our first petite competitive team and getting to watch her grow into a kind, hard working, hilarious and talented dancer has been an absolute blessing! Claire brightens every room she walks in with her wit, work ethic and positive attitude. She stepped up her training this year with more technique and styles and has done it all with grace!

We are so proud of you Claire, keep on inspiring us!! 💜🥰
