Olympic Oval secures $52 million in government funding to support major renovation - Speed Skating Canada On July 27, 2026, representatives from the Government of Canada and Government of Alberta announced a combined $52 million investment into the Olympic Oval, ensuring that one of the country’s most unique sporting venues can continue serving Canadians for decades to come.
