🌺✨ Happy 50th Birthday to our Ka'onōhiokalā! ✨🌺
Today we celebrate not only 50 incredible years of your life, but the love, kindness, laughter, and aloha you have shared with so many of us along the way.
You are truly one of the biggest supporters of each and every person in our hālau. You show up, you cheer the loudest, you celebrate every accomplishment, and you remind each of us that we are loved and supported. You are the favorite Tito Jon to all of our keiki, the one they look for, the one they light up around, and the one who always seems to bring a little more laughter and joy wherever you go.
You are so much more than a supporter of our hālau, you are a huge part of the heart of our ʻohana. The center that brings people together, the person who makes everyone feel like they belong, and someone we are incredibly blessed to call our own. ❤️
And as you celebrate this very special milestone, we have to tell you…
It feels a little different without you here on Kauaʻi. This past week, we’ve all felt like something has been missing. There’s a little less laughter, a little less craziness, and definitely a lot less CHEEHOOO! 😂
We all can’t wait for you to finally get here and make this ʻohana complete again. We can’t wait to hear your laugh, feel your aloha, and of course, hear that CHEEHOOO! from across the island. 🤙🏽🌺
Ka'onōhiokalā, thank you for being YOU. Thank you for loving our hālau, our keiki, our dancers, and our ʻohana so wholeheartedly. We hope you know just how deeply you are loved and how much you mean to all of us.
