Our annual Caged Athletics Christmas Drive is back! From November 1–December 31, we’re collecting food, clothing, and sports equipment to support three incredible community organizations:

🥫 Loaves and Fishes — Food Drive
Help put food on the table for individuals and families in our community.

🧥 Salvation Army — Clothing Drive
Help someone stay warm and comfortable through the winter months.

⚾ Boys and Girls Club — Sports Equipment Drive
Help give more kids the chance to gear up, get involved, and experience the joy of playing sports.

🏈 FINAL NIGHT OF THE SEASON IS HERE.

After a full fall of big plays, close games, and playoff battles, it all comes down to one last Monday night.

Three games.
�Three final results to settle.
�One champion to crown.

🔥 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME — 7:00 PM
�Bombers vs Free Agents
The title game is set.
The Bombers have been the team to beat all season and now they get their shot to finish the year on top. They’ve been led by Brody Taylor’s 25 passing TDs, Alex Bonnetplume’s 9 receiving TDs, and a defence anchored by Cole McGarvey’s 10 sacks.
The Free Agents have answered every challenge all year and now get their chance to take the crown.

Brett Powell has been one of the league’s biggest playmakers with 9 receiving TDs and 4 INTs, and the Free Agents have consistently found ways to put points on the board.

It’s the two best teams left standing, with the championship on the line.

💥 5TH PLACE GAME — 7:00 PM�Hooligans vs Redhawks
Two teams that battled all year get one final shot to finish strong.

The Hooligans have been led by Tommy Mitchell’s 7 receiving TDs, while the Redhawks have leaned on big seasons from Jack Harrison with 14 passing TDs and Tyler Fedun, who leads the league with 5 INTs.

Pride, momentum, and one last win to close the year.

⚡ 3RD PLACE GAME — 8:00 PM�Replacements vs Dugglers
This one should be a battle.
The Replacements bring plenty of firepower with Elliot Jones’ 18 passing TDs and a defence led by Will Mason’s 6 sacks.

The Dugglers have been dangerous when their offence gets rolling, with Parker Moscrip throwing 11 passing TDs and big-play threats all over the field.

One last game. One last statement.

CAGED ATHLETICS MIXED SLO-PITCH HITTRAX LEAGUES

Our Fall Mixed Slo-Pitch HitTrax Leagues are here.

We’re offering two divisions:
35U Mixed
35+ Mixed

Both leagues will run every Friday from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, starting October 30th.

Each team will get:
- 3 games per night
- 5-inning games
- Different opponents throughout the night
- 5-week regular season
- Week 6: Double-knockout semifinals
- Week 7: Best-of-3 finals
- Guaranteed 19-21 games
- 7:00-7:30 PM batting practice before games
- Live HitTrax stats and game data

Team Fee: $800 + GST

WHAT A WEEKEND IN KAMLOOPS.

Our Caged Athletics Travel Teams showed exactly what this program is about.

All three teams — 13U AAA, 13U AA, and 11U AAA — competed at a high level all weekend, played for one another, and represented Caged Athletics with class, sportsmanship, toughness, and true grit.

Our 13U AAA group put together an incredible run, going undefeated and bringing home the AAA Gold Medal and Championship Rings. The pitching staff was dominant, highlighted by one perfect game and three games with 10+ strikeouts, while the offence delivered all weekend with a relentless performance at the plate.

UNDEFEATED. GOLD MEDAL. CHAMPIONS.

Our 13U AA team had an outstanding tournament as well. They battled their way into the Gold Bracket semifinals, falling just short of the championship game but finishing an impressive 3rd overall out of 11 teams. An incredible effort from a group that competed hard from start to finish.

Our 11U AAA team gave us an exciting weekend of baseball, going 2–2 with every game coming down to the wire. They battled their way into the semifinals and finished 3rd in the AAA Gold Bracket out of 17 total teams. They showed composure, competitiveness, and fight every step of the way.

Beyond the wins and results, we couldn't be prouder of how these athletes represented Caged Athletics. They competed hard, supported their teammates, respected their opponents, and handled themselves the right way throughout a long weekend of baseball.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our players, coaches, and parents who made this trip possible and helped make it a weekend we won't forget.

The talent coming out of the Island is stronger than ever, and the future of baseball here is incredibly exciting.

Congratulations to every athlete who competed this weekend.

IMPORTANT — MONDAY PLAYING WINDOWS
We’re expecting 6–8 teams in each Monday division. The two-hour blocks are scheduling windows, not two hours of play for every team. Your team’s game times will be shared before the season.

ALL TEAM ROSTERS WILL BE CAPPED AT 8 PLAYERS to ensure proper playing time!

BATTLE OF THE ISLAND
Vancouver Island 5v5 Flag Football Tournament
Presented by Caged Athletics

Who will rule the Island?

Bring your team to Arbutus Meadows on December 5–6, 2026, for two days of 5v5 flag football. Battle through Saturday pool play, then compete for your division championship in Sunday’s single-elimination playoffs.

LOCATION
Arbutus Meadows, Vancouver Island, BC

DATES & TIMES
Saturday, December 5: 9 AM–7 PM
Sunday, December 6: 9 AM–4 PM

These are the overall tournament windows. Division schedules and individual game times will be provided before the event.

DIVISIONS
• Peewee — Grades 5-6
• Jr Bantam — Grades 7–8
• Bantam — Grades 9–10
• Midget — Grades 11–12

TEAM ENTRY
$500 + GST — $525 total per team.

WHAT TO EXPECT
• 5v5 flag football
• Three Saturday pool games per team
• Every team advances to Sunday playoffs
• Single-elimination playoffs on Sunday
• Four games guaranteed across the weekend
• 25-minute games
• Division championships and awards

EVAN MORRISON PRIVATE LESSONS — THIS WEEKEND

We’re excited to have Evan Morrison available for private baseball lessons at Caged Athletics this weekend.

Evan brings an outstanding playing background and high-level experience, including:

- 3rd in the NCAA in hits

Today, Caged Athletics recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

September 30 is a day to honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and Indigenous communities across Canada.

As a sports community, we believe in the importance of learning, listening, reflecting, and creating spaces where every young athlete feels valued and supported.

DUNCAN WINTER HITTING & PITCHING CLINICS

Caged Athletics is bringing a 6-week development series to Evans Park Batting Cages in Duncan this winter.

Players will have the chance to train in focused, age-specific groups with separate pitching and hitting clinics designed to build better mechanics, confidence, and consistency.

$150 + GST per clinic
Max 12 players per group
Sign up for both pitching and hitting and receive a $25 + GST discount per clinic.
