Ireland Lamarche is this year’s recipient of the Barbara Treleaven Memorial Dance Award. Her experience with Performers Youth Dance Company and BTS Dance Corp have allowed her to perform in VIEW Dance Challenge Nationals and Dance Canada Solo Finals. Ireland has over 14 years of experience with dance, and will extend her knowledge at York University for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.
Congratulations Ireland on your outstanding achievements!
This award was created to provide scholarships benefitting students graduating from a secondary school in our area with a background in dance. Through it, we honour Barbara’s legacy and impact on our local dance community.
