The weather pushed us indoors for our Inaugural Jr. Lakers Intermediate Beach Volleyball Tournament but 13 teams from local grade 7 and grade 8 schools battled it out today! It was an all E.s.c. Algonquin grade 7 & 8 final and ESCA #1 was the winner in both divisions.

Thanks to all the teams who participated today and we can’t wait till next year! 💚💙

The North Bay Volleyball community was well represented at the Ontario Volleyball Association’s Ovation awards on Saturday night in Mississauga. 🏆🎉

Congratulations to Coach Jessica, one of the inaugural recipients of the Dean Oberle Memorial Scholarship, and to local official Hollie Roy, who received the Sylvia Jaksetic Award. Jr. Lakers President, Sylvie was also in attendance for presenting in her role as an OVA Board Director. 💙💚
