The North Bay Y Titans Swim Team is a not for profit competitive swim club that is run by parent volunteers. Its origins date back to 1957 and coincide with the construction of the Centennial Pool. The Titans are deeply saddened by the passing of Gary Crossley on May 2, 2026.
Gary was more than a supporter of our club — he was part of our Titans family. A proud dad to two daughters who found their passion in competitive swimming, Gary was always there with willingness to help wherever he was needed. His dedication went even further as he became a Level 5 Swim Ontario Official, generously offering his time and experience to the sport and to our athletes.
Our hearts go out to Coach Sam and the entire Crossley family during this difficult time. Thank you, Gary, for all that you gave — your time, your energy, and your unwavering support. Thank you for raising and inspiring the incredible coach and person we are so fortunate to have in Sam. You will always be remembered, and you will always be part of the Titans.
