We’re having a BC Day Open Mat at Definitive Jiu-Jitsu. Come get some extra rounds in, sharpen your skills, and train with your teammates in a relaxed and friendly environment.

What an amazing week of fun, adventure, and memories with our campers! 🙌

Throughout the week, the kids stayed active, explored the outdoors, built friendships, and challenged themselves through a variety of activities:

🌲 Day 1: Hiking, trail walks, playground adventures & outdoor exploration
🎬 Day 2: Movie day + arcade fun
⚽ Day 3: Soccer, sports, and outdoor activities
🏀 Day 4: Basketball, trail walks, and more time outside
🥾 Day 5: Hiking, nature exploration, and finishing the week with another adventure

Beyond the activities, our goal was to create an environment where kids could build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and lasting friendships.

Yesterday we celebrated Amir’s birthday the best way we know how — on the mats with the team.

It’s been amazing watching Amir grow, not only as a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, but as a person. His dedication, hard work, and passion for the art continue to inspire everyone around him.

Thank you for always bringing great energy to the academy and being a great teammate.

We were honored to welcome Professor Vanderson to our academy for a special training session. It was an incredible opportunity for our team to learn, improve, and share the mats with such a great instructor and practitioner.

Thank you, Professor Vanderson, for sharing your knowledge, techniques, and experience with our students. These moments are what make Jiu-Jitsu so special — learning from others, building connections, and continuing to grow together as a team.

Congratulations to everyone who competed today and those who came and supported at the Prime Series tournament 🏆

We came away with 3 gold medals, 1 silver, and 3 bronze, with everyone putting in hard rounds and showing real progress under pressure.

More than the medals, it was the effort, attitude, and team support that stood out all day. Proud of everyone who stepped on the mats and represented us the right way.
