These glide baits are all ready for clear coat. They will be available at Trombly's Tackle Box and on our website early next week. We will be testing a 7" glide out tomorrow and those should be available soon too. The website inventory is slowly getting stocked back up.

If you're looking for something to do this weekend visit the Canadian Antique Fishing Tackle Association meet and swap in Cookstown this Sunday 10am - 2pm at the Cookstown Curling Club.

I was hoping to get this batch of glide baits done today but the humidity meant the painting had to slow down a bit. One color is done and lots of stencil work to do tomorrow.

Working on another batch of our 5" Kill Gill glide baits. These seem to be picking up in popularity for us and this batch is essentially all sold. Stay tuned for some new patterns on this batch.

Today's post is actually about another lure maker. At the Lanark County swap this past weekend I was given an opportunity to own one of Claude Brown's amazing hand carved lures. Everything about the lure is amazing from the hand carved lure, to the paint work, to the hand made carbon fiber bill and even the hand crafted box the lure came in. Claude is an artist, a craftsman and a really interesting guy. You should give him a follow . This lure will be added to my collection and will probably never see water, it's just too nice to risk losing.

This order just landed in Hamilton. Head into the store for some Van Dutch colors you won't find anywhere else.

First off we want to apologize for being behind on our contests and a few of our orders. Life and business have been very busy this spring and we thank each and everyone of you for your support!

This week we welcomed our first grandson to the family!! Our children are very proud of their new nephew who is not that much younger than they are.
