🥍 Weekend Recap 🥍

Another competitive weekend for the Orillia Lady Kings as our rep teams continued league play in week 3.

🔴 U9-1 dropped games to Oshawa and Orangeville but competed hard against two strong opponents.

🔴 U9-2 faced tough matchups against the Beaches and Mimico.

🔴 U11-2 earned a tie against Oshawa 3 before falling to Mimico in their second game of the weekend.

🔴 U13 picked up a strong win over the Beaches and battled hard in a loss to Oshawa, one of the top teams in the league.

🔴 U15 enjoyed a bye week and will return to action next weekend.

🔥 JEWL put together an impressive weekend, defeating Oshawa, Kitchener, and Kawartha while earning a tie against Owen Sound. The team now sits third in the standings with a record of 4 wins, 2 losses, and 1 tie.

With the season well underway, our teams continue to be tested against some of the province’s best competition. We’re looking forward to seeing what the next weekend brings 🥍 👑

A huge thank you to for teaming up with us for our House League Fun Tournament. It was a great day filled with learning, teamwork, new friendships, and plenty of lacrosse!

We loved seeing our players gain confidence, develop their skills, and most importantly, have fun while growing their love for the game. Thank you to all of the coaches, volunteers, families, and athletes who helped make the day such a success.

The Orillia Lady Kings are hosting a House League Mini Friendly Tournament on Friday, June 5 (PA Day) at the West Orillia Sports Complex Fields, where our house league teams will take on Midland’s house league program for a full day of learning, development, and FUN! 🙌

✨ WHO CAN PLAY?
All non-rep house league players in:
U7 • U9 • U11 • U13

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT
✔️ 2-3 games per team
✔️ A fun, learning-focused environment
✔️ Development for players AND referees
✔️ Flexible formats to make sure everyone gets the most out of the day

This is all about building confidence, learning the game, and having a great day at the field with teammates and friends! 🥍☀️

$30 per player to help cover field rentals, referees, and event costs. Please bring payment to House League on Monday.

Our Orillia Lady Kings rep teams kicked off their season in fine style over the weekend! 👑🥍

▪️U19/JEWL opened their season with 1 win and 1 loss, beating out Owen Sound before falling to Kitchener. Strong compete from these athletes all weekend 💪

▪️U15 also started with 1 win and 1 loss, picking up a win over Burlington and battling hard against the Oshawa Lady Blue Knights 🔥

▪️U13 remains undefeated after opening weekend wins over Owen Sound and Newmarket! This team is off to a fantastic start. 🚨

▪️U11-1 finished the weekend with 1 win and 1 loss

▪️U11-2 enjoyed a bye week and will hit the field next weekend 👏

▪️U9-1 also opened with 1 win and 1 loss, showing lots of hustle and teamwork ❤️

▪️ U9-2 may not have picked up a win this weekend, but they brought great attitudes, worked hard, had fun, and learned a lot every time they hit the field🌟

Doug is being honoured as part of the 2007 Iroquois Nationals team, who captured silver at the World Indoor Lacrosse Championships 🥈
