More than gym clothes. It’s what I live in.

I’ve worn GASP & Better Bodies for well over a decade, and at this point it’s literally all I wear whether I’m training, travelling, going out for dinner, or whatever the day looks like.

The clothing speaks for itself. It’s built to last, it fits my lifestyle and they’ve dropped a ton of new pieces lately, and with up to 80% off this is the time to load up.

Different city. Same standard. The work gets done no matter where we are.

Today I turn 39.

For almost the last 18 years, my birthday has always fallen during contest prep.

No cake. No celebrations. Just another day focused on the goal.

This year feels different.

Not because I’m 39…

But because I’ve finally slowed down long enough to appreciate the life I’ve built.

As long as I can remember, I’ve always been chasing the next goal. Every accomplishment became another stepping stone, and I rarely took the time to appreciate how far I’d come.

Looking back, I realize bodybuilding gave me so much more than a physique.

It gave me discipline when I needed direction. It taught me consistency, accountability, resilience, sacrifice, and what it truly means to earn something. Those lessons didn’t just shape my bodybuilding career, they became the foundation for everything I’ve built since.

They’ve helped me build a business I love, coach incredible people, and surround myself with family, friends, business partners, clients, and a community I’m incredibly grateful for.

Most importantly, they’ve helped me become the man I always hoped I’d be.

I’m proud of the life I’ve built. I’m grateful for the people in it. And I’m grateful that a decision to walk into a gym 19 years ago completely changed the direction of my life.

I couldn’t be happier with how this weekend in Toronto unfolded.

Not only was it great to spend time training, connecting with friends, and enjoy Toronto, but the real reason we came was to support three very close friends of mine compete, and all three delivered.

Quinton Eriya - IFBB Pro secured his first Open Bodybuilding pro victory, earning his qualification to his first Olympia. An emotional and well-deserved moment after years of hard work,
When they announced Quinton’s name, I had goosebumps all over my body and possibly even a couple of tears, I’m extremely happy for Quinton.

Kellen Wilson | IFBB PRO 🌐 set the standard in the Classic division, putting together a dominant performance and taking home a clean win. ā€œwe didn’t come to Toronto for pointsā€

CODERED | IFBB PRO 🌐 stepped on stage in the Masters division and did exactly what he came to do, walk away with the win clenching a ticket to the masters Olympia in Tokyo

The best part is that none of this happened by accident. These guys came here with a goal, trusted the process, put in the work, and executed exactly as they set out to do.

Seeing good people achieve what they’ve worked so hard for is one of the most rewarding parts of this sport. Extremely proud of all three of these guys and grateful to have witnessed it firsthand.

Toronto was a success šŸ¤

11 years.

That’s what you’re looking at in this photo.

Not just muscle. Not just conditioning. This is sacrifice. Patience. Failure. Growth.

For 6 of those years, I kept knocking on the door, multiple times a year and falling short of that overall win. Close, but not enough. Again and again and again.

The day this was taken was the day after I finally turned pro in Toronto.

And the crazy part?I don’t look victorious. I look… worn.

Sunken cheeks. Empty. Almost defeated.

Because this wasn’t a moment, it was a war. Years of showing up when it didn’t go my way. Years of giving everything, with no guarantee it would ever pay off.

If you’ve ever truly given EVERYTHING to something… you know this feeling. It’s hard to explain. It’s earned.

It took me longer than some. But I believe everyone gets their moment, mine just took time.

And honestly, I wouldn’t change it.

Because everything I learned in that process I’ve carried into my business’s, my relationships, my life.

That process built more than muscle.
It built grit. Discipline. The ability to take hits and keep moving forward.

This photo isn’t about the win.

It’s about never leaving the fight!
