✨Today we Celebrate Leigh, & Marvin!

We are thrilled to announce that Marvin and Leigh have successfully completed their program in Enhanced Combination Construction!

Throughout their training, they had the opportunity to work with a variety of machines, including graders, dozers, wheel loaders, excavators, rock trucks, to develop their skills. As well they have obtained the necessary safety certification to work.

They each chose three machines to become certified on, plus one for introduction. Their hard work and dedication have truly paid off!

🌟 A huge thank you to TRICORP and as well as TCG, Tahltan Central Government for supporting these talented students! They are working on obtaining employment with a nearby Mine and will do great! Their reliability, work ethic and skills are outstanding!

Exciting news! Today, we launched the Enhanced Combination Construction 🚧 Course in partnership with the McLeod Lake Indian Band, Duzcho & TC Energy!

Our first day covered essential topics such as orientation, enrollment, safety protocols, and selecting the right machinery for the program.

This initiative is made possible by the CWRG Community Workforce Response Grant and collaborations with TC Energy and Duzcho.

Over the next six weeks, participants will gain a total of 180 hours of hands-on training and 40 hours dedicated to compliance (safety certifications).

They’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, graders, dozers, and rock trucks for certification.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making this program a reality!

After six weeks of hands-on training, they’ve earned their certification. They chose to get certified on three machines from an impressive lineup: excavator, wheel loader, and rock truck. It was a pleasure having them in the program, where they collaborated and built great teamwork skills and worked as individuals.

Now, both are working with O’Brien Recruitment to secure employment, and they’re excited about the possibility of finding work near their homes in Tahltan Nation.

We’re proud of your achievements and can’t wait to see where this journey takes you!

Some in their final program weeks, and working like they have been operating equipment for years, and some students are just starting their programs. In all they come together as a brilliant team and work together on our construction site!

Safely maneuvering Excavators, Dozers, Wheel Loaders, Rock Trucks, and Graders throughout their program and building something together builds confidence and skill in each of them. 👍 keep up the great work!

It is Callista’s Final day in our program!

💫 She has put her focus into the Excavator, and worked her way through the tasks, functions and maintenance in the curriculum.
