Week two is in the books for our Yekooche First Nation students in the **Enhanced Combination Construction Program**!

With four AND a half weeks still to go in their six-week journey, they’re building confidence and hands-on skills operating
🚧excavators,
🚧wheel loaders,
🚧and rock trucks,while also getting introduced to dozers and graders.

We’re proud of the progress they’re making and grateful for the beautiful weather that’s helping make every training day a great one. Keep up the hard work! 👏

We are so fortunate for the excellent selection of candidates made by WorkBC Employment Services Vanderhoof ! 👏

It’s A busy day today! 🚧 Exciting Updates at O'Brien Training! 🚧

We're thrilled to announce some fantastic changes at our training site! As part of our commitment to providing the best learning experience for our students, we've added newer buildings and upgraded equipment.

With this expanded space, our students will have even more room to hone their skills while learning to operate graders, dozers, loaders, excavators, and rock trucks. These enhancements will ensure that our trainees receive hands-on, practical training in a safe and modern environment.

Lheidli T'enneh in partnership with O'Brien Training Ltd. is accepting expressions of interest for the Combination Construction Equipment Operator Course starting October 26, 2026.

Participants will receive hands-on training on:

✅ Excavator

The 5-week program also includes four industry compliance courses designed to help participants gain the skills and certifications needed for entry-level employment opportunities in the construction sector.
