And just like that… our Halifax adventure is coming to an end! 🥹💙

For our last night, we found a new pub called The Narrows — and let me tell you, the food was fabulous, the drinks were flowing, and the company was even better! 🍻🍽️

It was the perfect way to finish off one hell of a week. We ate, drank, explored, laughed A LOT, drove A LOT, and somehow managed to squeeze three people, a cat, and an entire human’s life into a U-Haul. 😂🐈🚚

Halifax, you were good to us. ❤️
Great food. Great people. Great memories. And just enough chaos to make it memorable.

Now… back to reality. 😩

But we’ll definitely be back. ⚓️🍻💙

And by “moved Carsyn,” I mean we packed every single thing she owns into a U-Haul, squeezed in three people, one cat, and somehow found room to close the door. 😂

Three people. One cat. One U-Haul packed to the absolute limit. And a whole lot of questionable life choices. 😂

Apparently, this is what you do when your daughter starts her next chapter in Halifax… you become a moving company, road-trip crew, and cat transportation service all in one. 🐈🚚

Montreal ➡️ Halifax
Carsyn’s stuff: ALL OF IT.
Personal space: ZERO.
Memories: TOO MANY TO COUNT. ❤️

And just like that, Carsyn’s Halifax adventure begin!

We stopped in for a brewery tour, a little history, and of course, a few Keith’s. A pretty great way to spend an evening

But the real star of the night was S**t Cat. 🐈‍⬛😂

Poor little guy apparently couldn’t resist getting in on the action and took an unexpected swim in a beer! 🍺💦

Don’t worry… S**t Cat survived his first (and hopefully last) beer bath. 😂

Just another perfectly normal day on our East Coast adventure! 🍻🐈‍⬛

One of those places that pictures just don’t do justice. The rugged coastline, crashing waves, endless ocean, and that iconic lighthouse make Peggy’s Cove such a beautiful little piece of Nova Scotia.

And because apparently we don’t travel like normal people… we brought Toulouse and Scott Cat along for the adventure! 🐈🐈‍⬛😂 They got to take in the ocean views and explore Peggy’s Cove with us.

A beautiful stop on our East Coast adventure and definitely one we won’t forget! 🇨🇦🌊🐾

So… the monster costume I bought for Carsyn, Tim and me to wear on our road trip from Montreal to Halifax didn’t arrive in time. 👹

Which means we missed out on the opportunity to travel across Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia looking like complete idiots. 😂

And when I told Carsyn about the plan, she informed me she would NEVER wear it!

So this morning, I put mine on and sent her a picture so she could see exactly what she missed. 🤣

She may not have appreciated the vision… but I stand by it.

Just imagine the three of us taking in all that beautiful scenery between Montreal and Halifax dressed like this. Iconic. 👹😂

One of the most meaningful parts of our impromptu trip to Montreal was finally finding my dad’s gravesite at Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges. ❤️

I’ve been to Montreal three times, but this was the first time I made my way up the mountain to find him.

It’s been 10 years since he passed, and there was something surreal about finally standing there, seeing his name, and just having a quiet moment with him.

A lot has happened in those 10 years. Life has changed, our family has grown, and so much has happened that I wish I could tell him about.

I’m really glad I finally made the trip up the mountain. Some things are worth waiting for. ❤️

Montreal ➡️ Halifax… and we ate like absolute trash pandas the entire way. 🦝😂

Bagels, poutine, lobster rolls, seafood, pastries, coffee, sushi… if it was delicious, we were probably eating it.

Did we eat like we had any business being responsible adults? Nope.

Did we regret a single bite? Not even a little.

Montreal and Halifax, you fed us VERY well. ❤️🦞🥯🍣

An impromptu trip to Montreal to follow Carsyn and Tim around while we get Carsyn ready for her big move to Halifax. 😂

No itinerary. No real plan. Just me walking behind these two, apparently serving as the unofficial entourage.

A little Montreal wandering, a lot of organizing, and somehow we’re getting her packed up and ready for Dalhousie. 🎓

And me? Still just walking behind them. 😂❤️
