What a way to finish Canadian Gymnaestrada 2026.

Yesterday, we performed The Heist one final time, and our athletes absolutely delivered. Every formation, every prop, every moment of teamwork came together exactly as we'd hoped. We couldn't be prouder of what this team accomplished on the floor.

From team photos and celebrating new friendships to one last photo booth stop and applauding an incredible week of gymnastics at Closing Ceremonies, Day 5 was the perfect ending to an unforgettable experience.

To our athletes, coaches, families, volunteers, GymCan, and every team who shared this week with us—thank you for making Canadian Gymnaestrada 2026 so special.

The memories we've made, the friendships we've built, and the moments we've shared will stay with us long after we've unpacked our bags.

Day 4 Recap 💎

What a day.

From morning makeup and cheering on teams from across Canada, to stepping onto the floor for the very first performance of The Heist... today was everything we hoped it would be.

After months of preparation, The Heist finally came to life on the performance floor. Every rehearsal, every challenge, and every late-night practice led to this moment, and our athletes absolutely shined. We couldn't be prouder of this incredible team.

The perfect way to end the day? Sharing dinner and celebrating alongside our friends from NorGlen Gymnaestrada Team. 💙

Today was all about putting the final pieces into place.

From learning and growing through workshops, to adding a little extra Canadian sparkle ✨, to taking the floor for our dress rehearsal, every moment brought us one step closer to performance day.

There's something special about watching this team come together—not just as performers, but as teammates who encourage, support, and celebrate one another every step of the way.

Tomorrow, it's showtime.

💎 DAY 2 // Mission complete.

Canada Day in Regina was one to remember. 🇨🇦

From the excitement of Opening Ceremonies to celebrating in Wascana Park, Day 2 was all about coming together. Along the way, our athletes jumped in to help our friends from NorGlen, our coaches proudly sported their new bedazzled bucket hats (thanks, Teresa! ✨), and we cheered on Bohemka during their incredible city performance.

One of the best parts of Gymnaestrada is seeing the gymnastics community come together—supporting one another, making new connections, and celebrating every performance, whether it's our own or someone else's.

Mission status: ✅ On track.

💎 DAY 1 // Mission officially underway.

The Calgary Gymnaestrada Team has officially arrived in Regina!

Travel day included airport arrivals, our first rehearsal on the performance floor, and a rainy walk back to the hotel (because every great heist needs at least one unexpected challenge 🌧️).

We also loved sharing the start of the week with our friends from NorGlen Rhythmic Gymnastics (NorGlen Rhythmic Gymnastics). While some athletes are representing both Calgary Gymnaestrada Team and NorGlen this week, others are here exclusively with NorGlen—and we're excited to cheer all of them on throughout Canadian Gymnaestrada. 💙

The final preparations are complete.

As we get ready to head to Regina, our coaches wanted to leave one final message for the team.

This week is about more than performances. It's about celebrating months of hard work, making lifelong memories, supporting one another, and sharing our love of Gymnastics for All with teams from across Canada.

To our athletes: we couldn't be prouder of everything you've accomplished to get here. Now it's time to enjoy every moment, trust the work you've put in, and shine.
