We had a pretty special guest join us at Kings Park Speedway for our September 13 Season Finale! 🏁

Saskatchewan Roughrider AJ Ouellette traded the football field for the racetrack, strapping into Hobby Truck #2 with Lucas Kindred for a ride along!

Watching from the sidelines is one thing… climbing into the truck is a whole different experience! 😂

FROM THE FIRST GREEN FLAG TO THE FINAL CHECKERED… 🏁

Another Kings Park Speedway points season has come to an end, and now we get to recognize our 2026 Season Points Champions.

Hobby Stock — #7 Kerry Maertens
Hobby Truck — Dave Kindred

A season is made up of so much more than what you see in the final standings.

It’s the hours spent getting ready. The work between race days. The battles on the track. The people beside you in the pits. And the countless moments throughout the season that make racing what it is.

At the end of the 2026 points chase, Kerry and Dave finished at the top of their respective divisions.

Congratulations to both of you on your 2026 Season Points Championships!

We also want to recognize all of the drivers who competed in Hobby Stock and Hobby Truck throughout the 2026 points season. Every driver who took the green flag contributed to the competition and racing we enjoyed along the way.

Thank you to our drivers, their families, our volunteers, sponsors and everyone who joined us in the stands throughout the points season.

🏁 WELL… THAT WAS A LITTLE QUIET! 😂

If you’ve noticed things have been a little slower than usual around our social media lately, there’s a good reason!

The person behind our Kings Park Speedway social media has been temporarily parked in the pits recovering from surgery. 🏥🏁

But we’ve got some GREAT news…

Recovery is going well, the laptop is back open, and KPS SOCIAL MEDIA IS BACK! 🙌

And trust us — we’ve got some catching up to do!

A huge thank you to our behind-the-scenes friend who kept the camera clicking while we were a little quiet. 📸 We’ve got plenty of photos and moments from around the track that we can’t wait to start sharing!

The wait is over — today we settle the 2026 Season Points Championships! 🏆

We’re wrapping up the points season with Hobby Stock, Hobby Truck and Run Your Junk/Mini’s, plus the PDRA Touring Series joining us for a special event on the asphalt. 🔥

🚪 Spectator Gates Open: 1:00 PM
🏁 Green Flag: 2:00 PM

🎟️ $10 — Ages 13–64
🎟️ Kids 12 & under — FREE
🎟️ Ages 65+ — FREE

Cash admission available at the gate.
