Attn current Grade 12 Softball Players
The Theo Gibbs Gameday Baseball & Softball Scholarships, proudly presented by Canalta Food Services Ltd, are awarded to a graduating Regina & area high school baseball and softball player who embodies the spirit of “gameday”. This player lifts up their teammates, gives relentless effort on and off the field, and is committed to playing baseball or softball at the college level.

These scholarships honor the legacy of Theo Gibbs, whose motto, “It’s gameday baby, let’s go!”, captured his passion, determination, and the way he inspired those around him.

We’re looking for athletes who:

Lead with heart, humility, and hustle

Support and elevate their teammates

Play with grit, joy, and determination

Are pursuing post-secondary education and continuing their baseball or softball journey

To apply or nominate someone, please submit:

A short personal statement or nomination letter (500 words or less)

A reference from a coach or mentor (include their name and contact information)

Name of post-secondary school you have committed to attend in 2026-2027

Applications and nominations can be submitted via email to [email protected]. Deadline to apply is Sunday, June 7th at 11:59 pm.

As of 4:30 pm all games will be played as scheduled.
