Your go to Pranayama for staying COOL ❄️⬆️

Pitta season is among us and if you’re noticing yourself feeling a little extra hot and bothered, this Sheetali pranayama practice is for you!

This season is ruled predominantly by the fire element bringing the qualities of intensity, heat and sharpness. In order to stay balanced we want to embrace the qualities of coolness, calmness and softness!

When excess pitta builds in our bodies and minds it may look like:

🔥 irritability, impatience & a short temper
🔥 perfectionism & being overly judgmental
🔥 overworking & competitiveness
🔥 skin irritations
🔥inflammation in the body
🔥 eye sensitivity & irritation
🔥 heartburn & acid reflux

☀️ SUMMER SOLSTICE CEREMONIAL SOUND BATH ☀️

The Summer Solstice is a sacred turning point when the sun reaches its greatest strength and the earth is bathed in its fullest light. This is known as the longest day of the year.

For centuries, cultures around the world have honoured this seasonal threshold as a time of abundance, vitality, growth, and transformation.

It is an opportunity to pause and reflect on what is flourishing in our lives, what we wish to cultivate moving forward, and where we are being called to shine a little brighter.

Join me on the shores of Lake Ontario for a nourishing morning immersed in the healing elements of nature 👇

Together, we will honour the four directions, connect with the elements, set intentions for the season ahead, and settle into a deeply restorative sound bath beneath the summer sky.

Supported by the vibrations of crystal singing bowls, sacred mantras, and other healing instruments, you will be invited into a state of deep rest where the nervous system can soften, the mind can quiet, and the body can receive.

Following our practice, you will be offered Summer Solstice journaling prompts to support reflection and integration as we welcome this new chapter of the year with intention and presence.

Full Moon Circles outdoors are BACK 🌕🌳

& We’re kicking it off with the full moon in Sagittarius on Sunday May 31st from 10:00am-12:00pm ♐️

Did you know have been hosting these special circles every month for FIVE YEARS 🥹?

Each month we dive deep into the themes of the full moon and learn how to work with this energy for personal growth and transformation✨

The circle begins with an engaging astrology discussion with Astrology Expert and Certified Oracle guide , helping you to understand and integrate the current astrological forecast. You will receive your own horoscope based on your rising sign and spend time interacting with the Oracle cards to help you set an intention for the evening.

I then guide us through an intentional full moon yoga practice, exploring the themes of the full moon through movement, breath and awareness. Together we will shift and move stagnant energy and release all that no longer serves our highest good!

Our yoga practice will lead us into a restful Savasana pose, prepared to immerse ourselves in the healing vibration of sound featuring crystal singing bowls and Nancy’s sacred gong 🎶

Together we conclude by burning away what no longer serves us in a powerful release ritual 🔥

The awareness is the homecoming🧘‍♀️

Just like your toothbrush is a tool for your oral hygiene, the yoga postures are tools to help us develop our awareness of self.

With greater awareness of self we are able to make better choices for ourselves and others.

With greater awareness of self, the separation dissolves, unity with all things emerges.

With greater awareness of self, we become more in tune with our intuition, our internal navigating system.

With greater awareness of self we are able to live our lives in a way that feels authentic to us, leaving behind the patterns of conditioning that keep us from shining our light.

With greater awareness of self, we are free, we are home 🙌🏻

A little taste of this weekend’s Digestion, Ayurveda & Yoga retreat🌱

Thank you, from the very bottom of my heart, to all who joined me this past Saturday. Your presence, openness, and willingness to dive deep made this experience so powerful.

What I love most about this work is that we don’t just talk about digestion… we embody it ✨

Through movement, breath, mindful eating, sound, reflection, and connection, we explored what it means to truly support our digestive fire… not only in the physical body, but in the way we process life itself.

In Ayurveda, digestion is so much more than food. It is our ability to take in, process, and integrate our experiences. Just as undigested food can create disturbance in the body, so too can unprocessed emotions, thoughts, and life experiences.

This day was an invitation to gently begin clearing both 🙏
