Graduate Spotlight - Leïla Murphy
We would like to congratulate Leïla on her upcoming graduation from Samuel de Champlain!
Leïla started dancing at the age of 11 and has been at UDC for 3 years. Leïla has been such a gift to our team. She has the kindest heart and captivates the audience when she takes the stage.
Leïla has been accepted into the Nursing Program at Université de Moncton.
Leïla will miss circle time with her friends before class.
Her advice to younger dancers: “Enjoy every moment because time goes by so quickly.”

Graduate Spotlight - Sophie Dionne
We would like to congratulate Sophie on her upcoming graduation from Saint John High School!
Sophie started dancing at the age of 3 and found her way to UDC 3 years ago. This fashionably late diva has made her mark and brings the party wherever she goes.
Her favourite dance memory is watching Jen pose on the mirror!
Sophie will miss talking with her dance friends in a circle every week, and hearing about everyone’s lives. She’s also going to miss her “Little Boots.”
Sophie will be attending UNBSJ in the fall and aspires to be a dental hygienist.
Her advice to younger dancers: “Don’t quit or give up. Keep trying because you are all amazing dancers and people. I love you and will miss you.”

Graduate Spotlight - Shasta Wray
We would like to congratulate Shasta on her upcoming graduation from Saint John High School.
Shasta started dancing when she was 5 years old and has been at UDC for 7 years. She has shown a strong commitment to dance and is always up for any challenge.
Shasta is going to miss dancing with her friends, doing lyrical and performing.
Her favourite memory is when everyone sang “Welcome, welcome Keira!”
Shasta plans to attend UNB where she will take Bachelor of Applied Arts.
Her advice to younger dancers: “Don’t stop dancing! Keep finding joy in dance.”

Graduate Spotlight - Keira Griffin
We would like to congratulate Keira on her upcoming graduation from St. Malachy’s!
Keira has been dancing with UDC since 2019. We’ve loved watching Keira’s dance journey. She’s challenged herself by stepping out of her comfort zone and tried new styles.
Her favourite memory is when she played Santa at our Christmas recital. Also, on her first day of dance, the whole class sang, “Welcome, welcome Keira!”
Keira plans to attend UNB F for Business Administration in the fall.
Her advice to younger dancers: “Enjoy every moment!”

Graduate Spotlight - Mia Clayton
We would like to congratulate Mia on her upcoming graduation from Harbour View High School!
Mia has been with us since the beginning! When we started at our home Manawagonish Rd, Mia’s mom signed her up as a shy 5 year old. We’ve loved watching you grow in class and on stage.
Mia is going to miss dancing with her friends and learning new things.
Mia is looking forward to working and exploring the opportunities ahead of her. We know she will excel in whichever path life takes her.
Her advice to younger dancers: “Anyone can dance, but not everyone can perform. Have fun!”
