📣🌱🏐 Hello again, so it looks like there is enough interest and Armin and Jon are taking the plunge and starting this thing up! The key things to keep in mind for registering is a team is that you need to have 2 girls on the court at all times (register 2 guys and 2 girls).

This post is from Taryn Cass, she is wondering if there is a team looking for women for the January to March session? She hasn't played in several years (but remains active in other ways) and would love to start again.

Just a reminder to all team reps to please register your teams for fall volleyball 2022, this is your last week to do so!! See you on the courts!! 🏐🏐

One other thing; the volleyball league will be starting back up at the end of September (most likely September 29). There will be no restrictions in place at this time, but that could be subject to change if things come up. I am hoping that team reps from past session can please let me know if their teams will be signing back up. As I am trying to get an idea of the rough number of teams that we will have. The Rec Center wants to know if I will need Wednesday nights as well as our normal Thursday night, but this would all be dependent on the number of teams interested.

Hi everyone,
Jon Koch from our volleyball league is looking for people who might be willing to volunteer and help coach their PVSS high school volleyball teams.

Their two Sr. Girl's coaches are trying to step back, and the Jr. Girl's coach retired. They are also trying to get a Jr. Boy's team started up this year. The idea is to have teacher sponsors at each practice/game either way.

Anyone interested in coaching will need to go through criminal record checks and concussion protocol training, but they don't have to be a certified volleyball coach.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that winter volleyball will NOT be running for January-March 2021 due to covid -19. As adult sports are still not allowed for indoor or outdoor sports. Hopefully we will be able to get back in the gym for September. I hope everyone had a safe, yet fun holiday season with your family. Stay safe.
