One of our own! Thank you for everything you do for the club David, and congratulations on this award!

Each year in early March, Sport BC hosts the Athlete of the Year Awards - a large banquet to celebrate the sport community across BC, and present awards in a wide variety of categories. The celebration takes place in Vancouver, but this year Rowing BC's President's Award recipient is based in the Interior so we thought it would be more meaningful to present his award in front of his peers during the Lap the Lake Regatta.

Congratulations to David Miege for being selected as this year's recipient of Rowing BC's President Award through the Sport BC awards program. David has had a substantial impact on building community across the rowing organizations in the Interior, and works tirelessly behind the scenes at the Salmon Arm Rowing Club.

Thank you and congratulations!
