Every League our members design t shirts and vote on a winner. The winner of course becomes the shirt for that season.
This season….was special. We have now been open for a decade, that means we have had a LOT of league members, been involved in a lot of events, been a part the community for a very long time. That has been a special experience. We have been unbelievably fortunate to meet and get to know some amazing people over the years.
The unfortunate side of being around for so long is that we have lost some of those people. In the last 7 months 2 of our former league members passed away. This was a surreal experience for a group of people brought together by a silly game and the idea of camaraderie, it took the wind out of our sails. This lead to this seasons league shirt design where our members decided to honour the people we had lost in the best way we knew how.
Our hearts go out to Jordan and Erica’s families. Just know their axe fam misses them too, we will wear this design with pride ❤️
