This is a massive, well-deserved honor that reflects decades of dedication, endless hours of practices, and an unwavering commitment to our athletes. Beyond the wins and championships, Art has spent years shaping character, building confidence, and inspiring everyone who has stepped onto the lanes under his leadership.

Congrats to Jason LeDrew on his massive 435 single Tuesday evening in the Centre Bowl summer league! 🎳🔥

The NL5 would like to extend a HUGE congratulations to our Master Bowlers, Connor Belbin & John Glynn on their Gold Medals 🥇🥇 this past week in Ontario!

Connor won the Tournament Men’s singles in 4 straight games, beating Michael Pelechaty from SK (2-0) in the semi’s and DJ Villeneuve from SO (2-0) in the finals!

As well as claiming the National Title, Connor threw the highest 21 game pinfall in the Tournament Singles Division awarding him the Team Canada 🇨🇦 award! And… by throwing a 418 in his first stepladder match he claimed the high single for the tournament and a portion 💰 of the perfect game pot!

John was our senior singles and finished with a very impressive 15-6-0 record claiming the Gold Medal! He had two wins more than his next highest competitors from BC & Manitoba!

To the entire contingent, there were some challenging conditions and extreme temperatures, but you persevered and we are all proud of how you represented our province!

A massive congratulations to the ENTIRE Newfoundland Contingent bringing home the aggregate award from C5PBA Open Nationals!!
