The week after The Open was not short on golf news.
The Asian Tour moved closer to the PGA TOUR and DP World Tour—at a particularly difficult time for LIV Golf.
A women’s golf brand reached Nordstrom.
Scotland backed its women’s golf strategy with participation programmes and £1.5 million per year for the Women’s Scottish Open.
Titleist released a mini driver that is becoming noticeably less mini.
But the story that stood out was Jenny Shin.
Her first LPGA win came in May 2016. Her second arrived 3,738 days later.
She did not disappear and suddenly return. She kept playing, working and trying to rediscover why she loved competing.
