Hormone health & wellness for high-performing women ready to reclaim their power. Hypothyroidism | PCOS | Postpartum | Perimenopause

AT THE AGE OF 17, I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HYPOTHYROIDISM

After many tests and numerous visits to the doctor, I was put on a pill which my body rejected. My Endocrinologist suggested to do a radioactive iodine treatment which lowers the thyroid hormone level to its regular production. Unfortunately, that destroyed my thyroid gland, production of the thyroid hormone and turned it into hypothyroidism.

Before you start another weight loss plan, ask yourself these 4 questions👇🏼

Because losing weight is one thing.
Losing it in a way you can actually maintain is another.

So many women start with:
“I need to lose 20 lbs.”
“I need to get back on track.”
“I just need more discipline.”

But before changing your food, adding more cardio or chasing another number on the scale, get clear on what you’re actually trying to change.

✨ WHY do you want this?
Not because you think you should lose weight. What would feeling healthier, stronger and more confident actually change for you?

✨ WHAT is the real goal?
Maybe it’s fat loss. Maybe it’s having energy again. Feeling comfortable in your clothes. Improving your health. Feeling strong in your body. Your goal is bigger than a number.

✨ WHAT has stopped you before?
Restriction? All-or-nothing thinking? Trying to be perfect? Starting over every Monday? Doing more and eating less every time progress slows?

✨ WHAT happens after you reach it?
If the strategy you use to lose the weight isn’t something you can realistically maintain, it was never a long-term strategy.

Your answer matters.

Because sustainable weight loss isn’t about finding the most extreme plan you can tolerate.

It’s about building the nutrition, movement, strength, sleep, stress management and daily habits that support your metabolic health, hormonal health and lifestyle long after the weight comes off.

Don’t just ask, “How fast can I lose the weight?”
Ask:
“Can I still see myself living this way when I’ve reached my goal?”
That question changes everything🦋

SAVE this before starting your next weight loss journey.
SHARE it with a woman who needs to hear this.

POV: you stop waiting for perfect conditions to enjoy your life🌧️💃🏻✨
Toronto was POURING for HUGEL… and somehow that made the night even better.
I’m not a late-night, club-every-weekend girl anymore. That chapter just isn’t my vibe.

But incredible music, dancing, concerts, laughing until my face hurts and making memories with my girls? THAT will always have a place in my life🩵

Because female friendships matter.
Girls’ nights matter.
Having people around you who make you laugh, hype you up, bring good energy and remind you to actually enjoy the life you’re working so hard to build… matters.

And this is part of wellness too🦋

Wellness isn’t only workouts, nutrition, supplements, sleep and routines.
It’s connection.
It’s dancing.
It’s music that makes you feel alive.
It’s laughter.
It’s positive energy.
It’s being present enough to make the memory instead of worrying about the rain.

Bring your own sunshine wherever you go☀️
And when life gives you rain? DANCE IN IT🌧️💃🏻🙌🏼

Your healthiest life shouldn’t feel like a list of rules you have to follow.
It should be a life you actually LOVE living👑

Tag the girls you need a night like this with 👇🏼✨

And tell me: concert & dancing or dinner & home by 10? And you can totally be and do both! ✨🩵

If you’re a woman trying to lose weight, support your hormones and improve your metabolism, doing MORE isn’t always the answer.

More restriction.
More cardio.
More tracking.
Less food.
Less sleep.
More pressure on yourself to somehow do it all perfectly.
And yet… you’re still exhausted, frustrated with your body and wondering why all that effort isn’t translating into the results you think it should.

As a Hormone Health Coach, there are a few things I intentionally DON’T do, and they’re probably the exact things you’ve been told you need to do to get results.

I don’t let the scale determine whether I’m making progress.
I don’t count every calorie that goes into my mouth.
I don’t cut carbs because I want to lose body fat.
I don’t destroy myself with HIIT because someone told me harder workouts = a faster metabolism.

And I will NOT sacrifice sleep just so I can wake up at 5AM, check another thing off my list and call it “discipline.”

Because sustainable weight loss, hormone health and a strong metabolism aren’t built by constantly pushing your body harder.

They’re built by learning what your body actually needs, and creating a strategy you can consistently live with.

Especially for the woman who is already carrying a career, a family, a packed schedule, stress, responsibilities… and maybe even navigating things like hypothyroidism, low energy, stubborn weight changes or hormonal shifts.

You don’t necessarily need MORE discipline.
You may need to stop following strategies that were never designed for your body in the first place.

📲 SEND this to the woman who still thinks she needs to eat less, train harder and obsess over the scale to see results.

And FOLLOW for realistic hormone health, metabolism, strength training & sustainable weight loss strategies for busy women who are done fighting their bodies🦋

Balance is making room for your goals without removing yourself from the equation ⚖️

Your health, your movement, your peace, your boundaries, your routines-these are priorities🦋

Don’t become so busy building the life you want that you lose yourself in the process!

A regulated nervous system doesn’t mean you never get overwhelmed, stressed, emotional or tired.

It means you’re becoming better at returning to yourself when you do🤍
And I think this is something so many high-performing women overlook.

We get so used to being “on” all the time.
Producing.
Achieving.
Taking care of everyone else.
Answering every notification.
Thinking 10 steps ahead.
Pushing through exhaustion because there’s always something else that needs to get done.

Eventually, being stressed can start to feel so normal that you don’t even realize how much tension you’re carrying😣

Regulation isn’t about removing every stressor from your life.
It’s learning how to move through stress without living there.
It’s boundaries.
It’s recovery.
It’s slowing down without guilt.
It’s listening to your body instead of constantly overriding it.
It’s creating routines that make you feel supported instead of depleted.
And sometimes the biggest signs of progress aren’t visible in a before & after photo.

They’re in how you sleep.
How you respond.
How you rest.
How you speak to yourself.
And how safe you feel simply being still.

THAT is the goal 🎯

Which one of these 10 signs have you noticed in yourself lately? 👇🏼

Consistency over perfection ✨🦋👑

Am I right?!

A reminder for the girls: you are allowed to outgrow the version of you that thought this was just “how life had to feel.” 🩷

Hypothyroidism or another hormonal imbalance may be part of your story, but it doesn’t have to define your identity, your confidence, or what’s possible for your transformation🦋

Set the boundaries. Fuel your body. Build the strength. Trust the process.

You’re allowed to become someone your old self wouldn’t even recognize✨👑
