Combat Science - Warrior Arts of Asia is truly thankful and blessed for the opportunity to share Filipino Martial Arts and culture with TCDSB students across the GTA this summer.
This program represents a first‑of‑its‑kind offering within the Toronto Catholic District School Board , introducing arnis, kali, and eskrima to students from all backgrounds. Through movement, storytelling, and cultural connection, we witnessed young people engage with Filipino heritage in a way that was meaningful, empowering, and memorable.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the educators, administrators, and community leaders who welcomed us into their schools. Your support helps create space for cultural education, representation, and youth development—strengthening the diverse communities we proudly serve.
As we continue to grow, we look forward to building new partnerships with schools, community organizations, cultural groups, recreation programs, and corporate wellness initiatives who share our commitment to culture, movement, and community impact.
If your organization is interested in bringing Filipino Martial Arts programming to your students, staff, or community, we would be honored to connect.

🇵🇭 Warrior’s Tribute: Araw ng Kalayaan 🇵🇭
At Combat Science – Warrior Arts of Asia, Araw ng Kalayaan is not just a date in history. It is a living reminder of the courage, resilience, and warrior spirit of our ancestors.
Through our practice of Eskrima, Arnis, and Kali, we honour the mandirigma who defended our people long before independence was declared. Every strike, every flow, every movement carries the legacy of those who fought for freedom, dignity, and identity.
Today, we celebrate Philippine independence—
but we also embrace our responsibility:
To preserve our warrior traditions.
To protect our cultural heritage.
To pass on the legacy with integrity, discipline, and purpose.
Pugay sa mga mandirigma—noon, ngayon, at bukas.
We remember. We rise. We train.
Pugay 🇵🇭

We’re proud to have supported Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School as they launched Filipino Canadian Heritage Month with the Toronto Catholic District School Board.
Our team shared the warrior traditions of arnis, kali, and eskrima, giving students a hands‑on experience with Filipino Martial Arts and the cultural heritage behind it. Moments like these strengthen identity, build community, and keep our traditions alive.

Thank you to OLOL, TCDSB, and the wider Filipino community — including partners such as the Filipino Centre Toronto — for championing cultural education and representation.
Throwback Thursday 🇵🇭✨
Last weekend at the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto: Philippine Flag Raising Ceremony, some of our Combat Science demo team had the chance to share a bit of sinawali with the community — and the response was incredible.
What started as a short demonstration quickly turned into an impromptu mini‑lesson, with spectators from the crowd stepping forward, eager to try the drills themselves. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do: sharing Filipino martial arts, culture, and heritage through movement, connection, and hands‑on experience.
Thank you to everyone who joined in, watched, supported, and celebrated with us. Your curiosity and enthusiasm keep our warrior arts alive and thriving.
