We're growing our Canadian manufacturing capabilities. 🇨🇦

Setting up a new knitting machine is no small feat — and we couldn't be more proud to be doing it right here in Canada.

The textile and sock manufacturing industry is facing real headwinds: skilled machine operators are increasingly rare, training takes time, and the knowledge required to produce a truly premium product doesn't come from a manual. It comes from years of hands-on experience passed down through generations.

That's exactly why we're investing — not just in equipment, but in people.

Bringing a new knitting machine online means committing to the skilled labour that runs it, the technicians who maintain it, and the team that ensures every pair meets the standard our customers expect. It's a long game, and we're here for it.

At a time when so much production has moved offshore, we're doubling down on domestic manufacturing. Because we believe the best outdoor adventure socks in the world should be made in Canada, by people who care about making the best quality product possible.

This photo captures the reality of sock manufacturing — skilled operators fine-tuning high-speed knitting machines, monitoring tension, adjusting settings, and making constant micro-corrections to keep quality consistent. These machines are incredible pieces of equipment, but like any production system, they need attention. When something breaks down, production doesn’t just stop — we troubleshoot, repair, recalibrate, and get it running again. That hands-on dedication is what keeps standards high.

Quality socks don’t happen by accident. They come from:
• Careful yarn selection
• Precise machine programming
• Continuous inspection
• Quick response to mechanical issues
• Experienced technicians who know how to dial everything back in
