Sound travels 4-5 times faster through water than through air. Our bodies are 70% water — which means sound isn’t just heard, it’s conducted through tissues, bones, fluids.
So a sound bath can reach places nothing else can (just the neurosurgeon maybe).

Who are you without your roles?
The role of a teacher, a mother, a student, someone who has it all together etc.
It’s nice to know who you are when you wake up in the morning. It feels like safety and direction.
We tend to hold so tight on these roles that when something changes, even externally, we feel terrified and lost.
Or maybe even we want some change to happen, but those identities resist hard, they give you 100500 reasons why you should stay as you are.
Sometimes I think maybe that’s exactly the point. To drop your old reality and start to explore the new one, maybe a better one. But until you hold back - you never know.
Yoga offers us this idea in different ways: do not hold tight in things (vairagya); explore yourself (svadhyaya); accept what you discover (ishvara pranidhana).
As a yoga teacher I can’t fix you the way doctor will, BUT!
I can help you learn how to understand your body and its needs, follow your mind and track and dissolve patterns.
Of course alongside becoming stronger and more flexible 😜
Tension loves to hide in the shoulders. Especially when life gets heavy.
These 5 stretches use a strap, or honestly anything long enough to hold (a towel, belt, scarf) to open up what stress and long desk hours lock down.
Try one or all 5 and tell me how it feels 👇
You work hard. You show up. Every. Single. Day.
I invite you to release. 🔥
Feel the heat. Let the noise fade. Let your body finally exhale.
In banya ritual I will guide from effort towards surrender.

The Breath of Freedom
Dynamic Breath Practice + Sound Bath
April 19 — Akshaya Tritiya, a day in Vedic astrology considered especially supportive for new beginnings and intentions.
Through dynamic breath & movement we will get the energy moving to break free through internal stagnation and clear space for new things.
Then pure softening will follow: lying down in a sound bath, allowing you to recalibrate and restore.
