I’m going to be closing this page down by the end of the month.

I just created a group named Wendy’s Therapeutic Movement Community.

It’s going to be a private group instead of a page. I will be approving access.

I haven’t got it all set up yet but it’s out there, set as Private, with me, the admin needing to approve members.

This should eliminate most of the 7K folks that are supposedly following me.

I’ve chatted about creating an online community before, where I can share live snippets and have more honest conversations. You can also feel safer in this community.

Thanks to the heavy rain when I pulled into my parking space at Costco, I was able to delete lots of groups I was following that are no longer relevant, as well as create our new private group.

It’s been a win today.

Oh and did I mention I got to an appointment 3 minutes early.

This was my post in IG yesterday. I changed my Instagram to a private account last week. I was getting too much junk and odd requests.

I use it as a platform to share random thoughts and life experiences living with Fibromyalgia, depression, ADHD and Concussion Syndrome.

I live life well all things considered. You can too.

I will be starting up a monthly or biweekly support group with a movement component. If you are interested please drop me a message or comment here.

I think it is needed. A safe place to share in studio and perhaps online too. Not a place to complain but learn from each other. 🤍

Still teaching. Still loving tummy time. This was 10 years ago. See comments for the original text.

Let’s howl at the moon tonight, dance outside. Wrap up warm.

Happy Friday everyone.

It’s Local Yarn Store Day.

We have some fabulous stores in our area. Each store has a different vibe and stock quite different yarns and accessories as well as needles, some even have a great selection of other fibre crafty things.

It’s a cold rainy day down by Lake Ontario today. Which store should I visit first?

The biggest challenge of course is to think a few times about any purchases I make today.

You all likely know that I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago. It can to the fore front after 2 TBI incidents in the last 4 years.

The over spending when I get into a hobby is hard to reign in. Thankfully I am aware of it now.

For example, I’d love to get back into making sourdough. I actually stopped because I couldn’t seem to get any of the timing right and got so frustrated. (That was a sign of brain function for sure). Realistically I’d much rather purchase a home made loaf from if she will make me one. Her bread is delicious.

Oops, I’d better get back on topic. This almost turned into a bread making post.

You will see in my feed the waves of hobbies and ideas. They all ended up being costly.

So today, I go on a rainy road trip to my yarn stores with a list. I need buttons for a baby cardigan, 1 special sock yarn for my shawls and blanket but only if it’s a colour I do not have, actually I think that is it.

I love that I can take my current project with me and sit and knit for a while too. Knit ins are a great way to get out of the house and have really interesting conversations with the other attendees.

See comments for my fab 4 LYS.

This wee Norway Spruce is thriving.

It’s my very first wiring attempt. Hopefully one day this will become a well trained bonsai. For now it’s in training and will need repotted and pruned this year.

I received this tree from the Cobourg Rotary club at the 2025 Water Front Festival.

I’m so happy it survived the very nasty winter.
