My friend Jen Lindsay and I went for a walk today and she brought me the most amazing gift of an arm full of blue hydrangeas from her garden. She knew exactly where they would end up! Now they are on the stand for you for just $20 for each arrangement.

I’m going to be away from the stand for a couple of days, but I have put a couple of arrangements out this morning for you. They are $20 each.

Yesterday, I got to scratch an itch I'd been missing for a while.

I haven't had the opportunity to create one of my cupcake bouquets in quite some time, so when my husband asked if I could make one for a dear friend, I couldn't wait.

This bouquet was for someone who has been incredibly kind and supportive of my husband over the past few years as he ventured into real estate. It was our small way of saying, "Thank you."

One of my favourite things about these bouquets is watching someone's face when they realize they're looking at cupcakes, not flowers. That moment of surprise never gets old, and yesterday's reaction was everything I hoped it would be.

Later in the day, I received a text that made me smile even more. She told me her elderly mother ,coincidentally, was hosting a little tea party today, and that the cupcake bouquet was going to be used for her mom and her special friends. I just loved that.

Thank you for letting me create something that brought a little extra joy to your day. Those moments mean just as much to me as I hope the bouquet meant to you.

One of my favourite parts of owning My Little Stand is that sometimes I get to throw the rule book out the window.

A few weeks ago, a mother reached out looking for a small floral arrangement for her daughter's elopement. As we chatted, the order grew to include a boutonniere, and then she sent me photos of a bridal bouquet she'd fallen in love with, asking if I could create something similar.

When everything was added up, something had to go to stay within budget. The flower arrangement was the first thing to be crossed off the list.

But here's the thing... when you're self-employed, sometimes you get to make your own rules.

This wonderful mom has been supporting My Little Stand since the very beginning. She's probably single-handedly kept me in the peppermint brownie business over the years, and she's cheered me on through this little adventure from day one.

So yesterday, when she came to pick up the bouquet and boutonniere, I surprised her with the flower arrangement anyway.

The flowers cost me very little. A bit of time, a little creativity, and some blooms from the garden.

It was simply my small way of saying thank you for years of kindness, encouragement, and support. What I received in return? Tears, the biggest hug, and the privilege of helping a mother give her daughter the wedding she'd envisioned.

Moments like these remind me that this little roadside stand has never just been about flowers or baking. It's about community, kindness, and the wonderful people I've had the privilege of meeting along the way.

Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for letting me be a small part of such a beautiful day.

This!! This is what I got up to yesterday. And I had sooooo much fun working on this wedding order. My goal is always to provide a little more than what they are expecting. I hope this bride and groom have the best day ever!!

Having some fun today!!

I just put these two beauties out on the stand for $20 each. Yeah that’s right, $20 each. I’d rather sell them for $20 than compost them for $30. So if you’re heading somewhere and you’d like to take some beautiful flowers with you, you know where to go.

The lilies have started to bloom. I just put this big beautiful bouquet out on the stand and it’s $20 in case you’re in need of flowers today.
