With profound sadness we want to inform the larger pool community about the sudden passing of our dearest and most loving friend Glenna Thibault.

Glenna loved playing pool, she loved meeting people, and she was always sharing her warmth and bringing her childlike innocence every where she went. I was lucky enough to be her partner in a luck-of-the-draw partners tournament, and did well enough to have a good picture captured with her for memory sake.

Oh Glenna, Remi and I are heartbroken with the news, and pray that you rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to Glenna's family and friends, please know she was loved dearly for who she was and will be in our hearts forever!

We will dearly miss her at the End of season tournament, I know she would have played in it! :(
We will keep a moment of silence for our sweetest dearest friend Glenna Thibault!

Before you type that comment, here's the scorecard: our last event was Straight Up 8 Ball and the next three events will be straight up races too.

But this one is different, It's our most handicapped event yet, because it's built for the people who keep the Pool and Vlounge alive every week: our Wednesday night regulars.

MEET TEAM VICTORIA. 🇨🇦🎱

The defending champions are coming back to the table.

On October 24, the Juan de Fuca Cup 2026 brings Victoria and Port Angeles together for a premier cross-border, Mosconi-style showdown.

𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝.

Here’s the Team Victoria lineup:

Brian Wallace (Fargo: 668) - Former pro golfer turned pool shark. Give Brian a look, and he’ll look to run the rack out.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐬 (Fargo: 550) - The dentist with a scientist’s eye. Shawn studies every angle, every cue, and every move, then puts it to work at the table.

𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐲 (Fargo: 555) - The veteran with a wrecking-ball game and decades of firepower. Shawn brings a big heart, keeps the room laughing, and brings a big break to the table.

Deepak Hemnani (Fargo: 584) - Businessman by day, pool shark by night. Deepak plays with heart, hunger, and a win-first mindset, and he’s back to defend the Cup with Team Victoria.

𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐮𝐝 (Fargo: 571) - The young gun is back for round two at 23. Fearless, plays for keeps, and has a full-cue jump in the bag. Big heart, ice in the clutch.

Andrea Wilson (Captain, Fargo: 473) - Multi-time Canadian National champion and back for another Cup. Andrea brings decades of championship experience to the table.

These six are ready to get back to the table on October 24, looking to keep the Cup on this side of the water.

THE JUAN DE FUCA CUP IS BACK. 🇨🇦🇺🇸🎱

𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚 and 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 are bringing their top players back to the table for another cross-border showdown.

Last year, Victoria took the Cup!

This year, Port Angeles gets another shot, and Victoria is back to defend the title.

But this year’s Cup won’t be easy.

The matches will be played under a 𝟑𝟎-𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤, 𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐥 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟗-𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭.

The players from both teams will be playing on 𝐚 𝟗-𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞.

Longer shots.
More precision.
Less room for error.

This is where the best players from both communities get to test their game against each other.

The Cup is back on 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, organized by 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐜𝐚 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞, 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐥𝐟𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐳, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚.

6 players from Victoria will cross the Juan de Fuca Strait on the Coho Ferry to meet Team Port Angeles at the table.

A certified referee will oversee the matches, along with shot clock operation, live scoring, livestreaming, and more.

18 weeks. 9 teams. So many great matches, moments, and memories.🎱

Since May, you showed up week after week and brought your best game to the table.

The skill.
The competition.
The sportsmanship.
The friendships.

We made it to the long run, and now it’s time to wrap up one of our best seasons yet!!

Events like this are about more than just pool.
They bring our community closer, build new friendships, and make our pool family stronger!

A few highlights from the final night - Week 18:

6-0 on the final night of the season.

Rack & Roll — Division Champions 🏆
63% match wins across 18 weeks, and they closed the season the same way they played all year.

Jackie Waggoner, Kim West, and 𝐊𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐃𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞, all among the lower-rated players in the division, put up a strong 4-2 record on the final Tuesday.
