Victoria Dachshund Meet-up Group

Hi! I hope you’re doing well. ❤️

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to share my fundraiser for my dachshund, Fluffy, or allow me to post it in the group.

Fluffy is currently in the ICU at VCA, with severe pneumonia. He’s been fighting so hard, and the veterinary bills have unfortunately gotten completely out of control. I’ve exhausted my savings and maxed out all of my credit cards, but I’m doing everything I can to give him the best chance of recovering.

I completely understand if this isn’t allowed or if it doesn’t fit the group’s rules. I just wanted to ask because even sharing the fundraiser could help it reach someone who might be able to help.

Just a friendly reminder that our meet-up is happening this Sunday, May 31st at 1:00 PM at Junction Orchard & Cidery (273 Prospect Lake Rd).

A couple quick housekeeping reminders:
• Please bring p**p bags
• All pups must remain on leash

I also spoke with Meg, the Events Coordinator, and it sounds like there will be a temporary fenced area set up from a previous dog event that we may be able to use! It’s essentially a pop-up fully fenced dog park, so we’re welcome to let the dogs run around if we’d like. The only rule is no food or alcohol inside the fenced area.

As an added bonus, the cidery is offering everyone a ticket when you purchase something and mention you’re part of the meet-up. We’ll do a prize draw later during the event for a tasting room prize! 🍎🐾
