Join us for a heartfelt evening of Satsang, Seva, and Dāna as we gather in community to support Sahil, a dear friend of Melody’s, along with his family and community in Nepal.

Rooted in the yogic values of service (seva), generosity (dāna), and community (sangha), this special gathering offers an opportunity to come together in a meaningful way—sharing stories, music, movement, meditation, chai, and conversation while supporting a family in need of stable housing.

Throughout the evening, Melody and Prakhar will share stories and experiences from Nepal and Mysore, offering a glimpse into the people, places, and relationships that inspired this fundraiser. Together, we’ll explore the power of human connection and the ways community can bridge distances and transform lives.

The evening will also include playful movement guided by Melody and a Japa meditation practice led by Sarada Pranav. There will be time to enjoy chai, snacks, music, and conversation as we gather in the spirit of friendship, compassion, and collective care.

Join us Sunday, June 14th for Rooting the Fire, a 2-hour seasonal immersion designed to support balance as we approach the Summer Solstice and the peak of the Yang season. Through qi gong, self-acupressure, sound healing, community acupuncture, and deep rest, this evening offers space to ground, restore, and reconnect within the expansive energy of summer.

Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this offering explores the Fire element and the qualities of the summer season. We begin with gentle qi gong practices to support the heart and fire organs, followed by simple self-massage and acupressure techniques you can use at home to maintain balance, vitality, and ease throughout the season.

The second half of the evening invites you into deep rest. As Elysia guides an immersive sound journey, Brianna offers gentle acupuncture points designed to calm the nervous system, gather scattered qi, and support deep relaxation. Together, sound and acupuncture create a supportive container for rest, regulation, and inner connection.

While summer naturally encourages expansion and outward expression, it can also lead to overstimulation or depletion without strong grounding practices. This experience offers an opportunity to nourish the Yin, restore balance, and move into the height of the season with greater clarity and steadiness. We close with cooling herbal tea and time to connect in community.

No prior experience with qi gong, sound healing, or acupuncture is required. All are welcome.

What to Bring
Comfortable clothing that allows easy movement and access below the knees and elbows for acupuncture. Layers are recommended to stay warm during rest. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in. Space is limited, advance registration recommended.

Hosted By
