We have another overnight night kayaking trip x Paddle Canada level 1 certification trip coming up in partnership with , June 12-14!

Taking place in the beautiful Desolation Sound, enjoy 3 days of kayaking, camping, and learning along the BC coast.

The program includes certified instruction, all meals, group camping gear, and Paddle Canada certification upon successful completion.

Recent wet exit and assisted re-entry skills are required

The Ocean River staff got out on the water yesterday with the staff to celebrate the beginning of the season.

Although we started in pouring rain, the crew continued on and were treated with a beautiful rainbow 🌈

Our fleet was put to good use with a mix of single/double kayaks, paddle boards, surf skis, and our NEW hydrobikes out on the water. We made quite the pack!

It was great to all get together and share our excitement for the season ahead. We can’t wait to see you out there!

Every Tuesday night, head to the Ocean River downtown docks for our Paddle & Pint in partnership with .

Here’s the deal: you get an hour and a half on the water in a kayak, tandem kayak, or paddleboard, and a post-paddle pint at Swift for $35.

A nice mid-week combo to get outside with friends, have a little date night or just enjoy some calm, casual evening paddling.

Drink vouchers get you a pint of any beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage. This is a 19+ activity.

Paddle & Pint Join us on Tuesday evenings for a 1.5-hour kayak or paddleboard rental in the gorge, and a pint at Swift Brewing, all for $35! The mid-week combination to get some outdoor time and social time all in one.

Exciting news!

Coming this summer, Ocean River will have a new addition to its fleet… Waterbikes!

We will be offering water-bike (hydrobike) rentals and guided water-bike tours from our Downtown location.

Rentals will be available daily. Guided water bike tours will run on weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

We are stoked for this new way to adventure in the Victoria Harbour!
