🌊 Fifty 5 & FORM Fitness Walk to Nova Scotia Challenge! 🌊
Summer Team Challenge • July 6 – August 30, 2026
This summer, we’re taking on our biggest community challenge yet…
We’re walking to Nova Scotia!
Grab your runners, get moving, and join the ultimate summer team challenge! Sign up at the front desk by Friday, June 19thto be part of the fun. Fee - $10 cash to join.
Participants will be randomly divided into teams of 15, and each team will work together to walk a total of 2250 miles — the distance from here to beautiful Nova Scotia!
👟 HOW IT WORKS:
Each participant will aim to complete 150 miles throughout the challenge. Together, your team will combine miles to reach the 2250-mile finish line by August 30th!
You’ll track your progress at the studio using our team mileage boards and mile stickers — and watch your team get closer to Nova Scotia week after week!
BONUS:
Not everyone needs to hit exactly 150 miles. Some teammates may do a little less, while others may go above and beyond. As long as your team reaches 2250 miles, you qualify for the prizes!
💪 HOW TO EARN MILES:
Every Fifty 5 Fitness / FORM Fitness / Personal Training / Small Group Training class = 5 MILES
Outdoor walking or running: 1 mile = 1 mile (Honour system!)
Whether you’re walking the dog, hiking, travelling, taking classes, or getting extra steps in after dinner — every mile counts!

➡️Your membership allows you to access classes at both FORM Fitness and Fifty 5 Fitness.
➡️Please be mindful of the level and intensity of the classes you are taking. All class descriptions are listed on our website and on our social media pages. Should you have any questions or need help selecting classes that are appropriate for you, please do not hesitate to speak with one of our team members.
➡️As many of our classes are waitlisted, if you are unable to make your class please remove yourself so as to give those on the waitlist a spot.

With 17 years of experience, Cherise is a passionate and dedicated fitness professional . Specializing in Pilates , Group fitness, Dance fitness, Yoga(diverse modalities) Strength and Resistance conditioning, Kids Yoga, and Active Older Adult programming. She holds multiple certifications through the Manitoba Fitness Council, including Group Fitness, Yoga, Pilates, Active Older Adult, and has extensive experience teaching all ages in community centres, schools, and wellness clubs. Cherise is Fully Stott Mat Pilates certified. She is known for her welcoming, encouraging, and down-to-earth personality - she creates inclusive, engaging classes that are safe, adaptable, and grounded in connection — helping people feel strong, confident, and supported at every stage of life.

Ashley is a group fitness instructor and personal trainer specializing in active aging, functional fitness, and small group training for older adults. With six years of fitness instruction experience and 14 years working as a direct support worker, Ashley brings a compassionate, supportive, and individualized approach to health and wellness.
As a mom of two, Ashley understands the importance of balancing health, strength, and everyday life. She is passionate about helping adults 55+ stay strong, mobile, and independent through functional movement and strength training that supports daily activities and improves quality of life.
Ashley believes in meeting people where they are while also encouraging them to step outside their comfort zones to build strength, confidence, and lasting positive change. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel empowered, capable, and motivated at every stage of their fitness journey.
