Since our last look behind the scenes, much has changed at our new home in Talstrasse.

At the heart of it all remains the yoga practice taught with the quality, experience and depth that have shaped AIRYOGA for many years. Hot Yoga and strength training will expand our offering next to some new yoga classes.

Soon, these unfinished rooms will become spaces for practice, learning, challenge, stillness and connection.

And on 10 and 11 October, we will finally fill them with life together. Save the date for our opening weekend with free classes, our expanded teacher team and the first chance to experience the new AIRYOGA.

We can’t wait to welcome you.

The advice Karl carries into every class was passed on from his own teacher.

Most of us come to the mat straight from somewhere we were already late for. The practice doesn’t ask you to keep that pace. Breath, movement, and no rush. That‘s the whole instruction.

Slowing down changes what the practice can do. The breath deepens, the body opens instead of forcing, and the mind stops running ahead. That ease doesn’t stay on the mat. It comes with you into the rest of the day.

Book your class at AIRYOGA via our link in the bio and return to ease.

AIRYOGA teacher Stefania shares her pathways into stillness and how differently stillness can be approached through practice.

In her Vinyasa classes, stillness is accessed through contrast: moving through heat, intensity and rhythm until the moments of quiet become more tangible. In her Hatha Flow the approach is more subtle: finding steadiness in the outer body and allowing movement to emerge from that place of stillness.

Perhaps that is what makes the practice so personal. There is no single way to become still, no universal doorway. Sometimes we move until we can feel the quiet. Sometimes we become quiet enough to feel the movement within.

Sometimes a new beginning starts with making more space.

More space to move. More space to practice. More space to connect.

We’re building a new home for AIRYOGA in the heart of Zurich. With a spacious yoga room for our regular classes, a dedicated heated room for hot and warm Yoga, a smaller studio for strength, personal sessions and small groups, plus showers, changing rooms and a lounge space for our community.

It’s still under construction. But the vision is already taking shape.

And now we want to hear from you: What would make this your dream yoga space? What absolutely shouldn’t be missing?

Tell us your vision. We’re building this next chapter together.

Our next chapter is taking shape.

The foundation is here, the walls are up, and slowly we can start to imagine what our new yoga studio in the heart of Zurich will feel like.

More space to move, breathe and practice. More light. And new class formats that will give us even more ways to explore yoga together.

There’s still a lot to do before we open the doors, but we wanted to share a little glimpse of what’s coming.

More soon. We can’t wait to practice here with you.

We often think stress lives in the mind. But over time, it settles into the body.

It becomes tight shoulders, a clenched jaw, shallow breathing, and a nervous system that no longer remembers how to rest.

Our culture celebrates yang energy: movement, productivity, ambition, doing. We need it. But without balance, even our strength becomes a source of tension.

Yin Yoga offers the opposite.

An opportunity to slow down, soften, and give your body the time and space to release what it’s been holding onto.

Sometimes well-being isn’t about doing more. It’s about remembering how to be.

Explore our Yin Yoga classes at AIRYOGA.
