Registrations are OPEN for SAYSKY Sub Rosa Edinburgh 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

We’re excited to team up with SAYSKY to bring Sub Rosa to Run4It Edinburgh - a chance to experience the city’s hills and cobblestone streets like never before.

➡ What's the format?
This is a self-navigated city run with no fixed route and no map.
Starting and finishing at our Lothian Road shop, you’ll receive your first checkpoint at the race briefing. Find it, check in, and discover where you’re heading next. Then repeat until you make your way back to the finish.

The Loch Ness Marathon shake out run gave us a little taste of that finish-line feeling! 🏁

What a brilliant way to share the excitement and soak up those pre-race vibes. Thanks to everyone who joined us - it was so good to swap experiences and share a few pre-race interrogations!

We are coming to the end of our last block of training that focused on strength endurance, developing the ability to sustain an uncomforable effort for increasingly longer periods of time,

This weeks session: Wednesday 29/04 starting at 6pm
a recovery run of 30 to 35 mins at conversational pace, before next week we build into a block that will focus on race preparation......even if you are not training for a race, introducing intervals and speed to your running can significantly boost running economy and make those daily runs good.

Next weeks session: Wednesday 06/04 starting at 6pm
3 X 2 minutes at 5k-10k pace (7-8 RPE) 2min recovery.
10 minutes at Marathon race pace (6-7 RPE). 2min recovery
3 X 2 minutes at 5k-10k pace (7-8 RPE) 2min recovery
34mins total plus warm up and cool down
