Another heartbreakingly close one for Mens 3

A 5–4 loss in the summer sun, with the match going right down to the wire once again

There were some fantastic performances and plenty of fight throughout the evening, but unfortunately the fine margins just didn’t fall our way this time

The effort, attitude, and team spirit are all there — surely one of these close battles has to swing in our favour soon!

Mens 5 bounce back in style!

That’s another brilliant victory for the team, showing great resilience and determination to get back to winning ways

Unfortunate circumstances with one of the Duffield pairs having to retire, but there was still plenty of quality tennis and competitive matches played throughout the evening

A fantastic effort from everyone involved — momentum restored and confidence growing again

We’ve got mixed matches everywhere this week, with plenty of big fixtures and even bigger opportunities

Tuesday
Mixed 3 kick things off at home vs David Lloyd, looking to keep their winning streak alive
Meanwhile, Mixed 5 head away to David Lloyd — can this unstoppable team keep the momentum rolling?

Thursday
Mixed 2 are finally back in action, travelling to Duffield for their first league match following the opener against our own Mixed 1 squad, Can they get their season up and running with a big result?

Friday
Mixed 6 return to action away at Belper, hoping to follow in Mixed 3’s footsteps from last week and bring home a win

Saturday
Mixed 5 are back at it again, this time away at Littleover Valley. Top of the league is on the line… can they hold onto that spot? Only time will tell

Plenty of tennis, plenty of drama, and hopefully plenty of wins

Ladies 3 have only gone and done it!

An outstanding performance from the team and a brilliant victory to get things firmly back on track

From start to finish the ladies battled for every point, showed fantastic teamwork, and fully deserved the result

The confidence is building again… let’s keep this momentum rolling!

An incredibly close battle for our Ladies 1 team

It really could have gone either way, with a couple of tie-breaks just not falling in our favour this time around

Despite the narrow loss, there was some fantastic tennis played and plenty of positives to take from a great match all round

A tough night for Mens 3

Despite the result, there were some seriously competitive matches played in challenging conditions, with the rain making for a tricky evening throughout

A massive thank you to the lads who stepped in at the last minute to help field a team — your effort and commitment to the club doesn’t go unnoticed

Plenty of positives to build on, and the fight and team spirit were there from start to finish

Unfortunately, fading light meant the final match couldn’t be completed, but there were still plenty of competitive games and close moments throughout the night

Duffield’s experience proved the difference this time, but the team kept fighting and showed great spirit from start to finish
