We are very excited to announce our next series of toddler golf sessions, the Fore for Fours, which will be held during October half-term.

🏌🏻‍♂️ 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
A fun activity aimed at introducing 4-year-olds to golf. All equipment is supplied, and participants will benefit from developing balance and coordination skills.

Congratulations to Selina Bartarya (Royal Blackheath) and Team England on winning their U16s match against Ireland this weekend 🥳 👏

"U16s secured an emphatic 21.5-8.5 win over Ireland at Wallasey Golf Club.

Starting on Saturday, England dominated the afternoon singles by going unbeaten, winning 10 out of 12 matches, before finishing this afternoon’s singles session with a further 8 points.

Following the two days of action, the Girls’ finished 11.5-3.5 victors, while the Boys won 10-5.

Congratulations to Selina Bartarya, Maybel Brooks, Mariella Buchanan, Ava Gadsby, Millie Marsh, Georgia Richardson, Max Blake, George Cooper, Ezra Hartland, Oliver McEvoy, Alfie Turner and AJ Van Emmenis."

The Guilford Trophy Final report 🏆

The Guilford Final was held on Saturday 26th September 2026 at Bearsted Golf Club between Prince's GC and Walmer & Kingsdown GC on a day that was perfect for quality golf, sunshine all day and very little wind. Unfortunately, the course itself had suffered from the summer’s drought, as many of the county's golf clubs have, but the green staff had worked extremely hard to produce a course worthy of this final.

Prince's sent what can only be described as their strongest side in several years, having last won the competition in 2014.

The morning foursomes went according to plan for Mark Bennett, Prince's captain, with a commanding whitewash 4-0, leaving Walmer & Kingsdown no alternative but to come out strong in the afternoon singles. Unfortunately for Walmer, the strength in depth of the Prince's team proved too much, and the afternoon singles were shared 4 all leaving the overall score Prince's 8, Walmer & Kingsdown 4.

It must be said that it was a great achievement for Walmer and Luke Browns's team to reach this year’s final, managing wins in 2 of the previous rounds away to Littlestone and also Chestfield.

Prince's are now the representatives of the Guilford Trophy, playing against the winners of The Perman Shield, Sundridge Park, in the Mid Kent Cup on the 4th April 2027 at Faversham Golf Club.

Congratulations to Selina Bartarya (Royal Blackheath) on being selected as one of the 12 players for the England U16s v Ireland at Wallasey Golf Club from 3-4 October 🏌️‍♂️

Selina's achievements include:
- Helped England U16s beat Scotland in annual international match
- 2nd at 2026 Scottish Girls’ U16 Championship, Sir Henry Cooper Junior Masters, North of England U16s and Midlands U16 Girls Stroke Play
- Tied-3rd at 2026 Flogas Irish Girls’ Open and English Girls’ U16 Stroke Play
- Top-10 finishes at 2026 Comboy Scratch

England will be aiming to build on recent success in the fixture, having recorded a 14-4 victory in Ireland last year and a dramatic comeback win in the most recent home match.

Chislehurst Golf Club held its Men’s Veterans’ annual “Overs v Unders” match on Monday 28th September.

The event is their annual test of the age-old question of “experience or youth”, played as pairs 4BBB match play. This year, the dividing age was 72, with those aged 72 and over taking on the “youngsters”.

Experience certainly prevailed, with the “Overs” recording an impressive 5½–1½ victory.

However, the highlight of the day came on the 5th hole when the captain of the Overs, John Paddle, aged 92, recorded a hole-in-one while playing from the yellow tees.

Remarkably, this was John’s fifth hole-in-one and his second at Chislehurst Golf Club!

Many congratulations to John on this marvellous achievement 👏 👏
