๐ The Tameside Bell Target Air Rifle Club is a unique, traditional shooting club based in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester.
๐ It stands out as the only bell target club in the North West of England and is believed to be the only club in the entire country dedicated exclusively to "springer" (spring-piston) air rifles.
๐ The club focuses on classic, vintage, and open-sight target shooting, providing a nostalgic yet highly competitive environment for local enthusiasts.
๐ Members shoot at traditional bell targets and paper cards at short indoor distances of 6 and 7 yards. ๐ When a shooter hits a perfect bullseye, a bell rings inside the target.

The club operates as a dedicated, springer-only club.
๐ It embraces classic and vintage hardware; for example, members have successfully used rifles as old as a 1909 BSA-Lincoln Jeffries in club competitions.

๐ Affiliation: It is affiliated with the National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA).
๐ Competitions and Skill LevelsThe club actively tracks scores on an average-per-card board to prepare a team for the National rankings.
๐ Shooters face an 8-shot challenge and are placed into distinct skill divisions based on their averages:
๐ Bullseye Elite: Averages between 39.1
๐ 40.8.Marksman: Averages between 32.1
๐ 39.0.Clubman: Averages of 32.0 or below.
