On Sunday the lads went away to play Pogmoor B, we knew it would be a challenge but in the first half we stayed in the game and created a good few chances. Tyler Arnold again scoring a volley from the edge of the box to make it 1-1. Second half totally different story and one to forget about quickly.
Regardless of result we all had a good laugh back at the boozer UTNB⚽️

Last night the lads travelled over to Doncaster to play AFC Mallard, we knew this was going to be a good test with the opposing side finishing 2nd in their respective league.
The game started out poorly for the new bank as we couldn’t get playing at all and went 1-0 down, then due to an injury Travis Coopers 2 outfield games ended and he ended up back in the net and what a decision, despite conceding to go 2-0 down Travis played an absolute blinder for 60 minutes keeping out plenty of good chances by the opposition. At half time we finally kicked ourselves into gear got the ball down and started playing, a lovely pass by Ciaran M sent Tyler A out wide who beat his man, cut inside and hammered it home for 2-1 and it wasn’t until basically the last kick of the game Ethan Ryan went down the right beat his man and squared it to again Tyler Arnold who made it 2-2 with a gorgeous first timed finish.

Defensively brilliant in the second half MOTM was an hard choice but Oliver Noble changed the game second half and had the better of his Man every single time.🏆

Yesterday the lads played against Silkstone FC.
In horrible temperatures it was hard to get any momentum going at all and it wasn’t until the second half we kicked on, pretty much straight from kick off Keeper Jenson Birks sent a long kick straight over everyone and Tyler Pacey latched onto it and finished well to put us 1-0 up but not too long after silkstone number 9 managed to lose his man, beat the defence for pace and put the opponents level. Alex Miller then got the ball on the left and played a perfect ball onto Tyler Arnold’s foot and with a first timed finish it was 2-1. Late on in the game another pass played through by Alex Miller to Tyler Pacey in which Tyler stayed calm and placed it round the keeper. 3-1 win today for lads to finally get back to back wins. UTFB⚽️

Tomorrow we were supposed to play Greasy Surface FC, however due to a cancellation last night we had to find a new fixture. Big Thankyou to Silkstone FC for filling in with late notice.
