Search for "2027 High Sheriff of Hampshire Community Awards"
The Awards celebrate community groups, volunteers and individuals who are making a positive difference to their communities, supporting crime prevention, strengthening community connections and contributing to a fairer and safer Hampshire.

This year, the High Sheriff’s particular theme is how sport and physical activity can be used as a preventative tool – particularly to engage disadvantaged or vulnerable young people, support positive life choices and help prevent crime and anti-social behaviour. However, nominations are open to anyone making an outstanding contribution to crime prevention, criminal justice, community safety or supporting people at risk of offending or reoffending. We are also keen to recognise those whose work strengthens social cohesion, builds stronger communities and helps create positive environments in which people can thrive.

Nominations should therefore demonstrate a clear connection to crime prevention, community safety, the criminal justice system, supporting people at risk of offending or reoffending, or strengthening the communities in which people live. Awards typically recognise individuals or groups who have gone above and beyond in their contribution to their local community, making a significant and lasting difference to the lives of others.
