A more than productive weekend for Bitton Archers (and extra help from the very kind Alex, one of our archer's - Oliver - friends) as we prepared the new site and pathway for our second container at Stothert & Pitt.

Final session of the last few weeks' beginners course at Bitton Archers was a complete success on the weekend!
All earned their certificates meaning they can now shoot at Stothert & Pitt individually and most importantly safely. 🏹💪📈🎯

Another super weekend of archery and a beginners course at Bitton Archers with hopefuls learning the basic intricacies of our sport including the basics of the compound and longbow as seen below. What are you waiting for? 🏹🎯📈📈

What to do on the hottest May bank holiday on record? Go and shoot some arrows of course! 🏹🎯🔥
In the hot conditions Phil was rewarded with his 252 at 20 yards and Gerald dropped a new personal best in a Western 40 round with 605 on barebow. 🌞☀️

Just some of the few pics from a fantastic Saturday where Bitton Archers hosted our annual 'Have-a-Go' event at Stothert and Pitt RFC as part of Archery GB's Start Archery Week.
Big thank you to all the members who came and helped set up the targets, gazebos and other equipment voluntarily all to shine light on our fantastic sport!
The raffle of the day was also won by Gemma Davies, the winner chosen by an arrow. Congratulations Gemma!
