We’re excited to announce two further re-signings to the 2026/27 Renegades squad.

Veteran goal scorer Jonny Keaney and utility defenceman/forward Ray Karpinskis

Keaney has scored some huge goals for us over the last three seasons and we’re glad he’s back to wreak more havoc around the net. He has a high hockey iq and gets himself in the right spots to get important goals. He had the most MOTM’s and multi point games last year and we’ll be looking to him to continue getting amongst the points this season.

Raimonds is a highly experienced and respected player in Irish ice hockey and brings leadership, a calm presence and a willingness to do anything to help the team win wether that’s making a play or putting his body on the line to block a shot taking away a goal scoring opportunity, he’s a coaches dream. His four big memorable blocks on the PK in the Final back in April stand out in everyone’s mind and they were just as valuable as a goal.

Welcome back to these two classy veteran players.

We’re delighted to announce the re-signing of two young players who made a great impact on the team in their first year with us.

Welcome back forwards Ryan Thompson and Reece Parkhill.

Experienced and highly skilled inline player Ryan Thompson made a move to ice and scored some great goals for us last year with a lethal wrist shot that lit up many goalies over the years in the local inline scene. He’s also hard working and physical which is a trait we like to have on our team. Showing strength and physicality without over stepping the mark.

Reece is one of the hardest working and fastest players on the team. A great skater and he slots in and does whatever is asked of him which is all a coach can ask. A real utility player.

We’re excited to add two more pieces to the puzzle with a real mix of experience, leadership, skill, youth, physicality and tenacity so far.

The Belfast Renegades are delighted to announce two brand new signings to the club.

Experienced and highly skilled forwards Adam Robinson and Milan Marcin have put pen to paper for the 2026/27 NSMC season.

Adam Robinson is coming to us straight from the Edinburgh Capitals and has a wealth of experience in the local and SNL game having been a long time member of the Junior Giants, training and playing with the Belfast Giants, playing for the SNL Belfast Giants and winning Championships for the Capitals. His leadership, work ethic, physicality and scoring touch will be invaluable to us this coming season.

Milan Marcin hails from Slovakia and started playing hockey when he was five and played for several teams in Slovakia’s top league until an injury ended his pro playing career at 17. After moving to Northern Ireland, he got back into hockey as an assistant coach with the Junior Belfast Giants. he also coaches inline hockey with the Bangor Chiefs. A power forward and leader with being a captain of the Latvian Hawks for two seasons
Milan will bring a lot of experience, physicality, leadership and skill to our lineup this season and he can’t wait to get going with his new team mates.

Renegades player coach Gareth Martin had this to say: I’m really delighted that we could get the signatures of these two highly skilled players. Our goal this summer was not to rest on our laurels after winning the cup. We wanted to improve our squad and I feel we have done that. We’re ready to get some pre season training and games in August ahead of the new season in September. We’re excited’

All aboard the Morrison Train! 🚂

We’re excited to announce a trio of Morrisons re-signed for the new season.
Firstly the versatility and tenacity of Mark The Mo train Morrison. A former fan favourite of the Belfast Giants he’s now banging them in for the Renegades and doing everything he can to help the team win. Then there’s W***y Morrison who’s probably the most talented forward in the league who came up with two massive goals in the Final back in April to help us win. He’s got hands like silk and a nose for goal and we’re delighted he’s with us and not against us.
Then finally there’s Davy Morrison. A rock at the back and Mr Dependable every night. A goalies best friend doing everything he can to protect the crease and get the win.

We’re delighted to announce the re-signing of two of the most highly skilled and respected veterans in Northern Irish Ice Hockey - Our coach and Captain Gareth Martin and Stevie Hamill.

No strangers to the local game they’ve won everything in Inline hockey with the Belfast Bruins, won with Team Ireland, ‘Marty’ was the first Northern Irish born player to ever score for the Belfast Giants, and now it’s no surprise they’re both winning and leading for the Belfast Renegades.

We’re delighted to announce the re-signing of our goaltender tandem of Chris Devine and Gavin Kelly for the 2026/27 NSMC season.

Player coach Gareth Martin had this to say:

‘Chris and Gavin are two solid netminders and top team mates who have both been with the Renegades from day one and are the back bone of our team. They have helped us to come top of the league standings in all three league seasons and win two titles in three years. I’m delighted to have them both back between the pipes for the new season’
