The NIJF Referee Training Course takes place on 18th October — an essential date for anyone engaged in competitive Judo or wanting to progress their skills.

Everything will be mapped out for those aspiring to be referees, to undertake the assessment process.

This course is also perfect for coaches who want the most up‑to‑date insight on rules, restrictions, and competition standards, and it also serves as a coaching revalidation event.

The N.I. Judo Schools Championship is set for 11th October at the Foyle Arena, and young judoka aged 8–18 can now secure their place.

It’s one of the most prestigious events of the year — time to represent your school, step onto the mat, and chase that champion’s medal.

But that’s not all…

November brings the NI Dan Grading, a key milestone for judoka ready to progress and test themselves at the next level.

If you’re aiming for promotion, now’s the moment to sharpen up and prepare.

A big weekend for our TDP and potential TDP players! Conor takes a great bronze at the Highland Budokan winning 3/4 contests.

Then the new Spartan Dojo welcomed TDP and TDP potential players for the first ever development session.

EUROPEAN UNIVERSITIES COMBAT CHAMPIONSHIPS

Best wishes to NITDP player, Quinn Armstrong along with coach Fintan Darragh who depart for the EUCC championships in Tirana, Albania to represent Ulster University this weekend.

Quinn will fight at U90kg in the competition.
