A big third innings for the Bangor team threatened to pull the game beyond the 'Hounds reach, but the home team kept chipping away at the deficit to pull the game back to a tighter affair.

A steady start for the away team saw them turn the screw in the third as the bats fired bringing in 4 of the Cubs 7 home runs during the game.

Cubs 21-2 after five.

It took the Cubs a while to get going against a short-handed Cyclones. A big 5th ultimately ended the back n forth giving the Cubs a 10-19 win

Despite great bats and big plays the Wolfhounds just couldn't keep up with the bats of the Hawks.

CT Cup 2026

First up in the round robin was BSC2, a shorthanded CubHounds took the win.

As the cavalry arrived for game 2 the CubHounds were ready to send them away again as they were outhit by the Sliders.

2 more wins followed before the break. Chris arrived back from Belgium just in time to take on the Cosmos pulling in another win.

With it all square. It came down to a winner takes all against BSC1. All tied heading into the bottom of the last, first up to bat, Jose spanked in a walk off home run to win the CT Cup for the CubHounds.

A wild day for weather saw bats and mitts tested with impressive plays from all teams.
