🔥 KEVIN DOES IT AGAIN UP ON GRANGE! 🔥
Others saying it was fishing slow, but not for Kp_fishing_

Another cracking session for Kev, putting his trust in our very own 🍑 PPG 🧄 and producing some seriously special carp! 🎣💥Kev was also putting a new bait partnership to the test alongside PPG, with and it certainly looks like the combination was doing the business!

Fishing The Pipe, and landing a number of fish Kev also nicked a few fish during the day from the Day Swim, even with the mid-day sun blazing down and his main baited spot going quiet. That’s some proper watercraft! 👌

Among them was a few of the named fish…

The once queen of Up on Grange is BACK! 👑

Gandalf is looking absolutely massive and, interestingly, she certainly seems to have added some length since we last saw her at this size. Could she be on her way to reclaiming her position as the big girl of Up on Grange?

With our growing stock of carp coming through, there’s certainly some serious competition for that title… and we’re excited to see how the story unfolds! 📈🐟

🔥🎣 48 HOURS. PLENTY OF CARP. ONE HELL OF A SESSION! 🎣🔥

What a 48-hour exclusive for the lads! 🙌

Fishing 🍑 PPG 🧄 our own bait, they absolutely filled the bank with some cracking carp over the session! 💥🎣

I’ll hold my hands up… I wasn’t quite the host I should have been this time around! 😂🪚

I’ve been absolutely flat out over on the syndicate lake with the chainsaw, so I’ve been in and out like a blue-arsed fly! 🤣

Luckily, these lads are regulars here at Up On Grange, know the lake, know their fishing and certainly don’t need babysitting! 😎

They got their heads down, did the business and produced the goods regardless — with plenty of quality fish hitting the bank and, most importantly, a bloody good time had by all! 👊🎣

Great angling as ever, lads. You absolutely smashed it! 🔥

🎣 ANOTHER CRACKING SESSION FOR KARL! 🎣

When Karl comes to fish Up On Grange, he absolutely smashes it — and this session was no different! 🔥

Another fantastic haul of some seriously glorious Grange carp, with Karl putting together a brilliant session from Peg 6. 💪🎣

But it wasn’t just about his own fishing this time…

Karl also took the time to help out some of the less experienced anglers bivvied up either side of him, giving them a hand with rigs, presentations and getting them on the fish.

So from me personally, a massive thank you for that, Karl. 👏

It’s exactly what we love to see at Up On Grange — anglers enjoying themselves, catching some cracking fish, and helping each other out along the way. 🙌

And with some proper carpy weather thrown into the mix, the lake was looking absolutely stunning! 🌦️🐟

Another session, another stack of quality fish, and another reason why Karl is becoming a regular feature on the bank! 🎣🔥

🎣 Massive well done to Robbie! 🎣

Always consistent up on Grange, and another brilliant session producing a great tally of lovely fish, as you can see from the pictures! 👌🐟

It’s been great helping Robbie simplify his rigs and improve his presentation. By showing him the benefits of Ronnie swivels, hook beads and different ways of mounting his hookbaits, his angling has become a lot more effective presentation-wise — and the results are certainly starting to show! 💪

Using Big Al boilie and hook baits mixed with pellet and particle from our on site shop to great effect once again, this time from Peg 7.

Well done mate — keep them coming! 🎣🔥

🎂 50TH BIRTHDAY SESSION — AND WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE! 🎣

David was back up from Devon for another session
Up On Grange, and it’s always a pleasure seeing him fishing the lake he grew up fishing.

But this session was a little more special than usual… David was celebrating his 50th birthday! 🥳

Back in his favourite swim, The Mangrove, David got amongst them once again, putting together a brilliant session with some stunning fish on the bank.

Among the highlights were The Pig Common and The Ghostie Common, alongside four more 20lb+ carp. 🔥

David used a combination of our Milky Maple Crunch (MMC) boilie, 7 Seed Mix, maize particle and pellets to keep the fish coming.

Another cracking session, David — happy 50th birthday mate! 🎂🍻

Hope you have a fantastic birthday with the family, and we’ll see you back on the bank again soon! 👊🎣

🐟 BIG TONY — 37.8LB OF CARP! 🐟
Size of its tail 🫨

What an awesome way to finish the August Bank Holiday! 🎣

Big Tony — the biggest fish in the lake — has finally shown himself again, and what a weight to do it at!

Last out in February this year, Tony has successfully avoided capture all the way through spring and most of the summer until a few weeks ago, when he slipped up on a Dads & Daughters exclusive booking.

And what a capture it was — a massive 37.8lb! 🤯🔥
A colossal summer weight and another serious milestone for this incredible fish.

Even more interestingly, this was only the second time Big Tony has ever been caught from Peg 4.

The big question now…

Will Big Tony break the 40lb barrier on his next capture if he goes uncaught again for 6 months… 👀

We’ll have to wait and see!

There were plenty of other fish caught during the session too, making for a fantastic few days on the lake. Most importantly, it was brilliant to see such a family and friend-orientated social, with plenty of smiles, memories and great fishing along the way.

Dan and Paul had an epic trip to Combley main lake for the Dan & Paul social. Using our very own 🍑 PPG 🧄 boilie to land some absolute stunners.
30lb and 44lb for Paul
37.5lb, 40lb, 43.08lb and a 50lb PB common for Dan
Along side the PPG, they used the matching bait soak with pellet, h**p and corn in the mix. The big girls couldn’t resist it 🐋

Awesome session lads, you won’t forget that one in a hurry!!

🎣 48 HOURS UP ON GRANGE! 🎣

Well done to Karl and his son on their 48-hour session up on Grange! 👏

Choosing Peg 1, the pair got stuck into some lovely fish and enjoyed some great sport along the way. 🎣🐟

But more importantly, it’s brilliant to see the smiles, quality time and memories being made together during the summer holidays. ❤️

We’re really pleased to announce that Steve is taking over the catering here Up on Grange, continuing the lakeside food service you know and love — but now running it under his own business, Grange Cafe! 👨‍🍳

And the best bit… GRANGE CAFE OFFICIALLY OPENS TOMORROW — MONDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER! 🎉

Steve will be bringing a fantastic selection of breakfasts, lunches, evening meals, puddings, drinks and snacks, with something available whether you’re after a proper breakfast before heading onto the lake or a hearty meal after a day’s fishing.

🎣 Well done Matt! 🎣

On his first session up on Grange, Matt got amongst some lovely scaley carp, as well as the Fat Lip mirror. 👌🐟

Matt was fishing solid bags in the Mangrove, using light flat leads inside to create the perfect presentation over the silt. This helps prevent the rig from burying and becoming ineffective — keeping everything sitting nicely where it needs to be.

He left the lake this morning after his second trip, unfortunately losing all his bites this time around. 😩

Still, a cracking couple of sessions and some lovely fish to show for it!
