Looking after your heart is about more than just physical health, it's about making positive changes that support your overall wellbeing.

Our partners at Wellbeing for Life can help you improve your health and wellbeing through support with areas such as healthy lifestyles, mental wellbeing, stopping smoking and alcohol awareness. They also offer advice and training to help people make positive changes.

At Employability Durham, we can also help you access First Aid training through Durham Employment and Skills. Learning CPR and other life-saving skills could help you respond in a cardiac emergency, while giving your confidence and CV a boost too.

Employability Durham is delivering the NHS England, Health and Growth Accelerator, WorkWell programme countywide, helping people who are struggling with their health to stay in work or get back into work.

WorkWell is a free NHS service designed to support adults whose physical or mental health is affecting their ability to work. A dedicated WorkWell Coach will listen to your needs, create a personalised plan, and link you with the right services — from mental health support and pain management to housing, money advice, workplace adjustments and more.
