BFSFA Berry's Beds Premier B Champions 22-23 ๐Ÿ† Premier B Runners-Up 23-24; Premier A Runners-Up 24-25 and 25-26๐Ÿฅˆ

Founded as Little Black Pug FC in 2016 and established as The Albion FC in 2023 โšฝ

The match report of our 6-0 victory on Sunday comes from our Assistant Manager Damo ๐Ÿ˜Ž ...

"With the gaffer away, the message was clear - start with the same intensity that he demands every week. And the lads didnโ€™t disappoint.
We came out flying. A perfectly-weighted through ball from Khambay set Lewis in, and he showed great composure to lift it over the oncoming keeper. 1โ€“0.

We were dominant across the pitch, but with the wind against us, No. 10 were always going to get a chance or two. Thankfully, Harry was in superb form, pulling off some top-class saves to keep our lead intact.

A setback came when Dom G had to go off injured, but Daz stepped into midfield and was an absolute maestro. We knew another goal before the break would put us in a great position. Then it came. Sellers delivered a deep corner, Billy volleyed it back across goal, and Killa was there from three yards โ€” and he never misses those! ๐Ÿ‘€ 2โ€“0.

Moments later, Toby was electric down the right, fizzing a ball into Billy, whose first touch was pure class. Calm as you like, he slotted it past the keeper. 3โ€“0. And Billy wasnโ€™t done. Picking up the ball, he drove at the defence before bending a beauty over the keeper from 18 yards. 4โ€“0 at half-time.

The team talk was simple: What a performance - now go and enjoy the last 45 minutes of the season.

Billy completed his hat-trick in style. Latching onto a ball over the top, he rounded the keeper, bounced back to his feet, and calmly finished into an empty net. 5โ€“0. Billyโ€™s on fire! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŽถ To cap off a 6โ€“0 win, a rebound fell to Toby 18 yards out, and he showed great technique to fire it into the bottom corner. 6โ€“0.

A thoroughly enjoyable performance โ€” physical when needed, but full of quality football. We controlled the game from start to finish: solid at the back, dominant in midfield, and a constant threat going forward. The subs came on and maintained the standard โ€” no drop-off at all.

What a way to end the season. What a team.
Up the Albion!" ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

The Albion FC MOTM for our victory over No. 10 Ale House FC on Sunday is... TOBY SCAMMELL! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Assistant manager Damo Anderson had this to say about his performance:

"Their left-back is probably still having nightmares after trying to deal with Toby. It was a complete performance from him on Sunday โ€” blistering pace, sharp skills, quality deliveries, plus a goal and assist to top it off. He was electric down our right flank all game.

He's such a talented young player. But what stands out most is his resilience โ€” even when he takes a knock, he gets straight back up and goes again. He's a real joy to watch and a coachโ€™s dream."

The Albion FC MOTM for our 2-0 league victory over Golden Eagle FC on Sunday is... JOEL KHAMBAY!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Our manager Ryan Searle had this to say about his performance:

"The lads were all class in tough conditions on a shocking pitch against a hard-working, well-organised Golden Eagle side.

The centre-back pairing of Daz and Otis were outstanding; they looked like theyโ€™d played together all season, which gave us a solid platform. In midfield, we were first to everything - special mention to Dom Gil for his relentless pressing. And then Bill, like he's done all season, showed real quality in the final third with both goals, especially that outrageous first strike.

But Man of the Match goes to big Joel Khambay ๐Ÿ‘‘

He was signed for games exactly like that, and he delivered. He was on another level โ€” winning every header, every tackle, and constantly looking to get us on the front foot.

He's been top addition to the club both on and off the pitch, and I just wish we'd had him from the start of the season!"

The Albion FC MOTM for our victory over Golden Eagle at the weekend is... COREY HARRISON!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Our manager, Ryan Searle, had this to say about his performance:

"After a frustrating couple of weeks, the lads bounced back in style with a strong win over Golden Eagle.

There were standout performances all over the pitch - the back line were solid all game; Rollins, Haines & Lewis controlled things in the middle and kept us playing on the front foot; and we were dangerous up top. But this weekโ€™s award goes to Corey Harrison.

Corey looked right back to his best on Sunday. He was a constant threat, causing problems every time he got on the ball, linking play well, and showing real quality in the final third.

He capped it off with two goals, and the second was an absolute top bins worldie of a strike! But it was his overall performance that stood out - plenty of creativity and constantly looking to feed the other forwards.

When Coreyโ€™s in that kind of form, heโ€™s a nightmare for any opposition and one of the best attacking players in the league."

We bounced back from last week's cup disappointment with a resounding 5-0 home win over Golden Eagle on Sunday.

The game was a closely-fought contest for almost half an hour, as two really good, well-organised teams battled in windswept, rainy conditions. But we finally broke the deadlock on 27 minutes when the league's runaway top goalscorer, Billy Dollin, added another to his tally. The game remained tight for the rest of the half, as we took a 1-0 advantage into the half-time break.

On 56 minutes, a moment of class from Corey Harrison doubled our lead, as he picked out the postage stamp of ths Eagle goal. From here, our lads took hold of the game, resolute in defence and threatening in attack. On 70 minutes, Toby Scammell bagged his first goal in Albion colours, as he reacted quickest to a loose ball. The lads rounded out the scoring in the closing stages, as Corey headed in from Billy's cross, and then Billy added another with a confident turn and finish.

We've got the return fixture next week as the lads face Golden Eagle at Moor Park.

As always, Up The Albion! ๐Ÿฉต

Starting XI: Pickle Henshall-Flynn (GK), Jamie Houghton, Jack Hammond (C), Ben Drummond, Cory Sellers, Lewis Godley, Ben Rollins, Danny Haines, Corey Harrison, Jack Hayton, Billy Dollin - Substitutes: Dom Winston, Lewis Camm, Toby Scammell

We made it 4 victories from the last 4 contests against Armfield with a hard-fought 2-1 win on Sunday.

After a goalless first half, it was Armfield who opened the scoring. But the lads hit back quickly through Tom Preston, who fired in from a tight angle after Corey Harrison showcased his jinky feet to create the opportunity.

Then in the closing stages, Billy Dollin cut in from the left-side before teeing up Jordan Kilgallon, who made no mistake with the finish to take a deserved lead.

The lads were able to see out the win and secure 3 points which moves us into 2nd in the table.

We're in league action again on Sunday with an away fixture against AFC Dunes at Common Edge.

Up The Albion!

Starting XI: Pickle Henshall-Flynn (GK) Daniel Loose, Jack Hammond (C), Daz Bleasdale, Cory Sellers, Joe Preston, Ben Rollins, Lewis Godley, Danny Haines, Corey Harrison, Billy Dollin - Substitutes: Ben Drummond, Joel Khambay, Tom Preston (59'), Toby Scammell, Jordan Kilgallon (83')

The Albion FC MOTM for our victory over Armfield FC on Sunday is... DANIEL LOOSE! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Player-manager Ryan Searle had this to say about his performance:

"Dan was outstanding on Sunday, putting in a top performance from start to finish. He worked tirelessly - he was up and down the flank all game; completely dealing with his winger defensively, while also being a constant threat going forward.

Heโ€™s been a fantastic addition since joining our club, really stepping up in the tougher games. He wins his duels; he's calm and composed in possession; and always provides a reliable outlet for the team. Itโ€™s only a matter of time before he starts adding regular goals and assists to his game, which is the next step for him.

For someone so young, Dan has already become an important part of our squad. I'm confident that he has a big future ahead of him in football."

The Albion FC MOTM for our victory over Blackpool Town FC at the weekend is... BILLY DOLLIN!!! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Player-manager Ryan Searle had this to say about his performance:

"It was back to business for Bill after a couple of weeks away.

The lad is a natural goalscorer. Even on a day where he wasn't fully at his best, he still walks away with seven goals! That tells you everything about him. He's now scored over 40 in all competitions, and it's still February.

Heโ€™s an absolute nightmare for any back line. He's always hungry, always demanding more, from himself and from the rest of the team. He has become a real leader within our group."

The Albion FC MOTM for our match against Highfield Social yesterday is... PICKLE HENSHALL-FLYNN! ๐Ÿงค

"It was a massive performance yesterday from the lads against a very strong Social side, who fielded lads who get paid on a Saturday to play. We went at them from the off and made them work hard for their share of the points.

There were plenty of standouts - Otis was solid defensively and calm in possession, as always; Rollins just reads the game so well, and dictated the play; and Joe P relished the battle in midfield and didn't stop running throughout. But Man of the Match has to go to Pickle.

Giving it to a keeper could suggest that he was under constant pressure. That wasnโ€™t the case, but when he was called upon, he dealt with everything with real confidence. He commanded his box superbly; dealt with corner after corner; his distribution was spot on; and the triple save he pulled off was nothing short of ridiculous.

We think he's one of the best young goalkeepers around and we firmly believe that he has a huge future ahead of him."
