What better way to spend our afternoon than enjoying a beautiful church service out in the sunshine (and shade) โ๏ธ๐ณ
A big thank you to Joseph, our Chaplain, who led such a lovely service while residents sat outside, soaking up the fresh air and peaceful atmosphere.
Joseph even treated us to some singing, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed โ especially with a refreshing ice lolly in hand ๐ฆ๐
Moments like these bring so much joy to our day ๐

A Warm Day at Pennystone Court โ๏ธ
With the weather a little too warm to be outdoors today, some of our residents stayed cool inside and enjoyed a fun and relaxing quiz together ๐ผ
There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great teamwork as everyone joined in. It was a lovely way to spend time together while keeping comfortable ๐
Moments like these remind us that itโs not about the weatherโitโs about the company and creating happy memories ๐

As part of Dementia Action Week, weโre exploring how meaningful activities can make a difference.
In this part of Ireneโs journey, we explore how music therapy plays an important role in daily life.
These sessions support physical wellbeing, boost mood, encourage social connection and bring moments of joy.
Watch to see how engaging with music can make a meaningful difference.

As part of Dementia Action Week, weโre looking at the importance of connection and community.
Living with dementia doesnโt mean facing it alone.
Dementia cafรฉs, support groups and community events offer a safe and welcoming space for people living with dementia and their families to connect, share experiences and find support.
Care homes also play an important role, providing not just care and support, but a sense of community, routine and belonging.
If you or someone you know is affected by dementia, reaching out can make a real difference. You can find more information at https://mha.org.uk/care-support/types-care-support/dementia-care
